i thought making this post might put my mind at ease:

my activity is minimum/close to nothing nowadays because i am busy with school/life and because i took a long break from writing i am Rusty
my dash is suuuuuper slow and i don’t have many active mutuals so if i were to like a post of yours and it is old-ish this is why and i apologize ; ;
if i follow you, i promise i am not expecting a follow back especially with my activity so no pressure! i am following you mostly because i like your character + writing + and hoping we could interact when i finally actually write properly again ; ;
i watched a thing where: two people were cooking and the guy held up the hand blender and turned it on while it’s up in the air, and i just couldn’t not imagine it’s yuki and (probably) either joey or yuji and she stands there panicking since her kitchen is precious to her
brumatifl said: it’s a promise they made, and yuki is always true to her word. he didn’t get an excellent grade but a little better than last time so he deserves this. “yuji! come get your hug.”
ah , his grades aren’t as good as he would like , but they’re better by a whole twenty points ! instead of a thirty they’re a fifty ! that should count for something ! maybe he’s not a disappointment ! well , it’s not his fault , he has a hard time sitting still and taking in information without getting bored. still , he wonders if yuki would be okay with it.
there’s a grin , and he’s running into the table when she speaks , “ fuck – ” a loud swear is given when he bangs his toe against the leg , and because he’s ran into it , things on the table happen to fall off the table and he’s grimincing at the sound loud noises from silverware and cups falling off but his hug with yuki was more important and so with a cheeky grin , he apologizes before propelling his body forward up and over the table to get to yuki.
landing in front of her with a solid landing , he opens his arms wide. “ i’m here for the hugs ! ” with a wake of destruction behind him.
i’m almost always torn between: should we laugh with yuji, or be sad with yuji or keep pushing him till he finally breaks and is welcomed to the club of (we all need therapy but it’s too expense)..
yuki stands there, in shock. ever since yuji came into her life, he's brought along plenty of surprises. he would usually yell out something or make some sort of noise but today he seemingly came out of nowhere. and a kiss to the head definitely wasn’t something yuki was expecting.
what kind of host would kagami be if he didn’t provide for his guests? it’s all very well on the impromptu visits that go from being a casual social call to a sleepover, but for a deliberate sleepover? when yuki’s brought her pyjamas, and they’ve sorted out an elaborate and relatively comfortable bed for her on the couch? kagami’s got his own snacks, and nijimura doesn’t seem to mind -- or at least, doesn’t voice otherwise. but yuki said in passing that she wishes she had taiyaki. the comment passes by with little reaction outwardly, but then kagami goes quiet for five minutes on his phone for places open at what is now 11:59pm that sold some. bingo! a take-away store ten minutes away. it doesn’t deliver, go figure, but he orders some without announcing it.
nijimura is flipping through netflix as kagami stands. yuki talks about one of the movies nijimura passed, but kagami doesn’t know it so he doesn’t pay any attention. unceremoniously, he’ll pull his hoodie over his head and leave the living room. he’s notin his pyjamas yet, but realistically he’ll only change from joggers to joggers, so it’s not much of a change at the best of times.. he slips into his shoes in the hallway, phone in hand, replying to a text from his boyfriend ( whom he is not allowed to talk about because certain members of this party do not get along with him -- lame ).
“i’ll be back in ten,” he calls, deciding on the spot that he thinks he’ll run it. kagami slips away and, about fifteen minutes later and significantly sweatier, he returns again, carrying a vague plastic bag.
his friends are still undecided as to which movie to watch. nijimura looks two seconds away from giving up with something new and putting on an old reliable. kagami takes off his shoes and drops the bag into yuki’s lap en route to the kitchen. he’s going for water, but it’s a good escape so that she doesn’t make a fuss about it, right? it’s not like he had to go that far, and it’s not like they were expensive. and! now all three of them have their favourite snacks. yay!
