She's sitting at a table at the Sakura, cozily tucked away in a corner with some hot chocolate and her journal. The manager had given her off for today, but still she came back to the cafe.
There were other cafes, sure, but the Sakura had a special place in her heart.
Twirling a pen in her hand, Imnah sipped her hot chocolate as she attempted to gather her thoughts.

I miss Imnah. Anyone still here? Idk if I'll come back, but yanno. I miss it. Am ballsdeep into star wars tho, but yanno.

I have been thinking about reviving my personal blog (that I haven’t been on since I made this blog) to keep more in contact with the fandom and all. It’s been real fun, but with my motivation to rp being as low has it has been, this was the obvious choice for me. I still adore you guys alot, and thank you so much for writing with me and for giving so much love to Imnah and myself 💙 I won’t be gone permanently, just be less here.

She looked around herself, doing a full spin and stopping to face the boy before her. “I’m sorry, I haven’t seen a cat. What did it look like?”
“I’m used to it”, she hummed, taking the glass with a smile as he passed it to her.
“I used to travel alot by myself, I’ve walked in areas more dangerous than this”. Imnah took a sip of the rum and coke, letting out a content hum.
“Perhaps not the best thing to do, in hindsight”, she laughed, pushing a lock of hair behind her ear. “But I had a lot of fun, and met some lovely people”.
She put the glass down on the bar. “This is very good, by the way”.
“I suppose I can’t fault you there. It’s not always easy to find people willing to travel with you.” Joey offered it, though he really didn’t have any concept of it considering how little he’d traveled outside of what was offered in duel monsters tournaments and what had been graciously extended by Yugi’s family.
“I’m always glad to hear when people enjoy my drinks.” He laughed, doing a rather dramatic flourish with his hand and a bow, as if awaiting applause. “It is an artform… of a sort.”
“Though, I will say I’d be careful how much you drink. It’s less of a matter of the people being dangerous, but the police in this area can be a bit overzealous, I’d say. They’re not shy about bringing people in for being tipsy in public, unfortunately. Or, I can always call a cab if you’re looking to stay a while.”
“I did travel with a companion for a bit”. She promptly took a large sip of her drink at that. “But that didn’t quite work out”.
Imnah giggled as he bowed, granting him a slow clap. “I think it is. There’s an art to mixing the right flavours together by feeling.Just like with cooking. Anyone can follow a recipe, but not everyone has a feeling for it”.
“I am a heavyweight, but thank you for your consideration”, she smiled, winking at him. “And I don’t have anywhere to go, and you seem fun, so I guess I’ll stay and chat a bit. If you are up to it, of course”.
Your virtue is the most valuable thing you have.
The comment took her off guard, and she chuckled a bit. “You assume I have great virtue, milady?” The idea was laughable to Imnah. She had blood on her sword, as many a knight had. She was by no means innocent, or virtuous. Not in her own humble opinion, at least. “Why is that so, if I may ask?”
We haven’t got much time left, you must flee.
“I cannot just leave!”, she yelled, panicked. She couldn’t just leave her home, her family, behind like this. No matter the danger that threatened. “Doomstar, isn’t there anything I can do? Anything?” Imnah couldn’t do magic, and she was only mediocre at sword fighting, but surely there was something she could do? “I’m not leaving without you”.
“Yes, Milady. I will not dissappoint you, I promise”.
Imnah bowed, then proceeded to follow behind her as she moved. She did not know exactly why she had been chosen to serve as Lady Elise’s guard, but it was a duty she would take serious. The lady in front of her was young, they both were, and she carried herself with grace and dignity. As expected from a royal.
“What is on the schedule for today, Milady?”
This has been on my mind for long but I’m gonna do this - please reblog this if you’re comfortable with pre-establishing relationships. I do not mean “met at the grocery store two weeks ago” or “have a common friend”, but rather stuff like “have been best friends since kindergrden”, “go for a beer every friday”, “friends with benefits”, “dated in highschool”, “hate each other’s guts because -insert reason-” etc. Something meaningful (but not necessarily shippy) and I mean with muns/characters you have not interacted with, because I cannot believe I am the only one who prefers jumping right into the heart of the human interaction.
“Tweet tweet”. Imnah giggled.
“Aren’t we mushy today, huh?” But this was nice, and it made Imnah feel loved, safe, welcomed. “By the way, is there anything you want for Christmas? Since it’s coming up and all”.
Mukuro giggled in response, 「nothing wrong with being mushy〜」 another laugh before planting a gentle kiss against Imnah’s temple。 「Oh。。。 I’m not sure, I have all that I want right next to me〜」
“I’m flattered, but come on. Surely there’s something I can get you?”, Imnah laughed, quirking an eyebrow in question.
Raising her hand, she starts to slowly run her fingers through Mukuro’s soft hair, her expression softening.
“I went wherever I wanted to. I’ve been around Europe, North America, South America, Africa, Asia. I took a plane or a train whenever, and to wherever, I wanted”. Imnah smiled as she turned her head to face him.
“Sure, it was lonely at times. But I also met a lot of people. I stayed with families, in hostels, all kinds of people. I did the standard tourist activities in groups, but mostly went out on my own”.
She spread her arms wide, her smile turning even brighter as she continued to talk.
“I have seen the sun set from the top of the Eiffeltower in Paris, and watched it rise behind the Swiss Mountains, as cow bells rang in the distance. I partied in Las Vegas and petted an elephant in India. I worked in the fields in summer, delivered the morning paper in autumn, and waited tables in winter”.
Seto stared at her blankly for a long awkward moment after her little speech, trying to process it all. “Er. Congratulations? You’re certainly well-traveled.” he remarked.
“I… that much uncertainty and lack of a routine doesn’t sound appealing to me.” he couldn’t help but say. Though he couldn’t help but wonder if Mokuba would find the same thing about traveling appealing as Imnah did. “Didn’t it get quiet though? Like yeah, when you were with families I guess not, but all the time in between, with only yourself to talk to sounds like it’d get old fast.”
She was quiet for a bit, though the smile did not leav her face.
“Oh it was so quiet it was almost deafening, sometimes”. Imnah intertwined her fingers, watching them entangle. Fingers and hands who were not as smooth as they looked from a distance, roughened by rock and earth and labour, despite being taken well care of. “But when you have no one to talk to but yourself, you start to think. You get into your own head, your thoughts make chaos in your mind, and the only one who can untangle its mess is you. It’s the times I was alone, that I learned most about myself”.
