Really happy with this, even doing a simple background feels like a big step forward for me, I've been so inspired by all the fanart out there and all the new artists I've been following on Bluesky the last couple weeks.

I've been sketching my oc Twig as a warmup all week. She's always been my most cartoony character and Hazbin's really got me inspired.
It wouldn't happen but I liked the aesthetic.
I like anything that inspires me to sketch a bunch.
I drew the last panel 30 min ago, it's more of a prophecy I hope to fulfil.
This show's really got me wanting to draw some toothy grins.

Thinkin about things
More shades of Cosmo. The combinations are endless as our emotions are incredibly nuanced. I was thinking about how his purples are indicators of high stress to the body/fear/pain, but can also express pleasure in something as pain and pleasure both come from the same part of your brain. I love thinking about our nervous system and how your brain will make you feel any number of nuanced feelings based on countless factors that brought you to that experience, I really want to explore that with Cosmo.
