I know this has probably been said before but I think itâs time for us to move away from the black high end lifting bags. LPs starting to catch onto this. If youâre going to use structured bags maybe go with different colors?
I personally love the idea of using those big ass Victoriaâs secret tote bags because theyâre not your standard black and they make you look like you got money. Anyone got anything to add?Â
I've been using a cute blue and brown diaper bag.
The âlast bit of makeup for myself for awhileâ mini haul
So i decided that i an finally satisfied with my makeup collection for now and i want to lift more for my friends and boosting. Theres this one holographic stick from milk i want but thats about it.

Nervousness. Fidgety body movements and looking anxious. Constantly looking from side to side or looking around at other shoppers and employees. Facial expressions of worry, such as wide open eyes, raised eyebrows and crinkled foreheads and gaping mouth. This is usually seen immediately after concealment has already occurred and eye contact is made with the suspect. Releasing nervous tension through exercises such as stretching, cracking knuckles, rotating arms. Walking faster or slower then normal customers. Entering the store and proceeding directly to an area at a brisk pace while eyeballing customers. Walking around the store briskly through aisles while carrying merchandise, attempting to not be seen or followed by associates while concealing the merchandise Refusing assistance from store staff and obviously avoiding contact with others. Asking an associate for directions to an item or department, then proceeding in the opposite direction. Asking an associate unusual questions about merchandise. Removing security tags. Peeling off price stickers. Constantly looking at security cameras. Ducking down and out of employeesâ or camerasâ view. Uninterested in shopping. Repeatedly picking up random items with no interest and putting them back. Selecting multiple merchandise at a high rate of speed and not checking prices or sizes. Wandering around store, handling items, lingering here and there, without doing any real shopping. Removing merchandise from one department and depositing it in another, then walking away; creating a depository of merchandise for a later theft. Removing hangers from clothes for no apparent reason. Double hanging clothes. Placing clothing inside of other clothing. Hiding merchandise behind other merchandise. Carrying large seemingly empty purses, bags, or back packs. Placing purse/bag opened in the child seat area of the shopping cart. Large or open purses and shopping bags carried on the arm or shoulder. Handling of bags, backpacks, at the same time glancing around. Carrying a shopping bag from a store that is not in the same shopping center. Carrying items around the store then going into out-of-the-way areas. Constantly walking into a hidden area (Blind Spot) from the view of security. Entering a store empty handed and staring at the Returns desk. Removing a crumpled receipt from their pocket, matching to items on shelf. Suddenly walks quickly to an exit without making a purchase. Opening a wallet and showing cash, in attempt to alleviate suspicion. Wears bulky, heavy clothing during warm weather or coats when unnecessary. Wearing baggy or oversized cloths, hoodies and backpacks. Wearing sunglasses in the store. Caring umbrellas or wearing fake casts. Pushing wheelchairs, and baby strollers. Enters a dressing room or rest rooms with merchandise and then exits with nothing. Repeatedly sends sales staff away by asking for other sizes or colors or distract you with constant chatter. Quickly enter change rooms with a large number of clothes, so staff are not able to check the number of items taken. Backing into a parking space. Leaving the trunk of the car cracked. Leaving another person in the car or at the front of the store. A group entering a store at the same time and then splitting up or come in the same car but enter the store at different times.
THIS.Â
Aw shit, I do a lot of these lmao. Bless this post.
What you think you are sly but then you read thisâŚ
i catch myself doing maybe 5 or 6 of these things, i feel pretty good abt my ability to not look sus. the baby stroller one doesn't count, cause i have an actual baby lol, what am i supposed to do?
I've honestly taken to leaving my phone and ID in the car when I lift (in the glove box of course, don't want to tempt car hoppers). look, i've seen facebook ads for stuff I stole right after I stole it. The phone gps knows what store you went into and google matches that to stuff the store wants to advertise. Your phone's location service knows what section of the store you were in. call me paranoid, i just don't want to be surveilled like that.
any tips on boosting? my son and i are living hella lean, even now that i lift all our clothes and most extra things. i need money for christmas, or else heâs just gonna get books i can lift cause i can fit toys in my purse đ iâm so tired on being heinously poor
This is whatâs worked for me so far:
- Better Than Sex Mascara (waterproof) sells really really fast, and theyâre small enough you can probably grab 5-10 in one go if youâre careful/not being watched.
- Instax film (found at staples, Walmart, Michaelâs, etc) sells pretty good imo. I sell a ten-photo pack for about ~8$-9$, and the twenty-photo packs for about ~14$-16$ apiece, and I sell them in packs, like 3-5 ten-photo packs and 2-4 twenty-photo packs.
- instax cameras (toys r us, and Best Buy if youâre really really lucky). They sell fast and at good prices, between 45$-55$ (if you get a really rare color, like somehow manage to snag one of the pastel ones from michaels, I could see it selling for like 55$-60$), but itâs best to have a structured purse for lifting those. The ones at toys r us arenât tagged (at least the few locations Iâve been to they havenât been) but def check over any from Best Buy.
- Newer high end makeup palettes sell pretty well too. And Iâm sure limited edition makeup will sell very well a few months after they go off the shelf.
- copics (Michaelâs or hobby lobby possibly) sell very good, only sometimes - I think for these try to sell them towards the beginning of school semesters and around Christmas time. But you can sell them for high prices, I sell mine for about ~5$-6$ a market, so like 20 markers is at least 100$ in profit.
Some other things to boost Iâve heard of but havenât tried yet:
- high end wallets and purses (fossil/Kate spade/Michael kors etc)
- higher end art supplies (Iâm guessing this means like oil/acrylic paints and good quality brushes and selling them in sets - again thisâd probably be good more towards the start of semesters/around Christmas)
- PokĂŠmon cards ? Like I guess thereâs some rare cards out there so if you lift a whole bunch of packs and find the rare ones you could sell them ? Not sure on the specifics đ
- north face jackets
- Calvin Klein clothing (this and north face can be found at TJ Maxx, they usually have hook tags or gator tags.. unfortunately all the ones around me have gator tags, and their dressing rooms are watched over pretty well)
- maybe lipstick queen ? Theyâre small, rarely tagged, so you could grab a whole bunch at once and sell them either piece by piece or in small lots. Iâve wanted to try this but havenât yet.
- also, this is just an idea but like maybe manga sets ?? If you work and manage to get all the volumes of a popular newer manga series you could prolly sell it for a pretty good amount. Manga books usually sells for about 7$-10$, so if itâs a series of ten books, and you sell them for 5$ apiece youâd make around 50$âŚ. might not be anything, but this is just another thought Iâve had but havenât tried yet.
For boosting, use mercari, Poshmark, depop, or eBay.
The one I use the most is mercari, itâs just the easiest for me to understand, plus it doesnât go through PayPal (which I donât like PayPal so it works for me đ)
My car broke down so I had to buy a used car, my money situation is in the pit ATM, so I can totally understand - especially with Christmas so close⌠my kid is of course expecting toys and Iâm like ?? Okay đ Iâll try my best lol. But Michaelâs has like animal figurines (theyâve got dragons, dinosaurs, and like wolves and other animals), if your kid likes those! Some of them are pretty big (e.g. Can fit in a large purse). Toys r us has lots of untagged toys, but a lot of them are in packaging đ goodwill sometimes has good toy finds, and Iâm pretty sure theyâd be pretty easy.
Hopefully this is a lil helpful đŹ good luck boosting and getting Christmas presents!!
Iâm new to boosting and this post is godliness đđđ
Lots of Sephora and Ulta eye creams and beauty products that start at like $100 boost very easily and are rather small. Shoes from Nike and Adidas sell rather well especially limited edition ones, headphones are very expensive and you can do walkouts from Apple Store and Target. Also baby stuff is pretty expensive
On the pokemon cards, I was SUPER into them for a while, and I used to buy like sets of 100 on Ebay for around $10, but they didnt like have anything special in them. I wouldnât think stealing a bunch would be hard, but without rare ones it wouldnt be super lucrative
SD cards and flash drives do amazing btw. Watch for source tagging. Also there is a very active @nthropologie group on Facebook so if you manage to get an item from there then you can resell it through them via PayPal and make good money.
- I agree with the other user about skin care products from ult@ or Sephor@. Also Iâve noticed that even bundles from S@llyâs do really like well@ t18 toner & t14 excetera . Iâve great success with that. - I also like to do lipstick bundles. NYX is really popular, and I second the lipstick queen. I am personally obsessed with that brand and typically I can tell whenever itâs someone boosting it because of price and Iâll buy it all day long since I have to travel far to lift it. If you get lipstick queen message me and Iâll buy it. Iâm obsessed. - roku, video games etc via eBay. Typically theyâre spider wrapped so you need an S3 key but itâs worth the investment. Definitely watch videos and try to practice before using one because the first time I ever used one I screwed up really bad so practice practice practice!! - printer ink does well imo. Just make sure to get high yield and also check for the newest printer models or the most versatile ones. And thatâs another eBay item or mercari. - you can also make a killing on some drugstore bundles as well. Iâll personally do like a whole set of a particular brand and bundle it. It smaller profit but less risk involved and if you boost it along with expensive products on separate listings then it works good. -ANYTHING Lilly Pulitzer .Sorority girls kill for that stuff. - swell bottles, yeti tumblers, etc. Also check bb&b for the Game of Throne cups and other fandom cups because those do well surprisingly. You want to have a variety of items and some will bring in lower-income and some will bring it high income and its a good ratio in my opinion - did I say Lilly Pulitzer already? Because seriously they go nuts over it!!!
Sorry if I repeated anything that was mentioned. Just from personal experience.
I just read some articles on some new technology some stores are using to track people in their store and across entire malls. I could get into technicalities, but the baseline of it is that stores are using your phoneâs wifi pings to get information about your searches, personal info, and most alarmingly, an address specific to your phone. This system is not only able to accurately track where you are in the store live, but is also able to tell if youâve visted the store before, how often, how long ago, and which areas youâve visited most often.
This system of tracking is not only an exposure of privacy for shoppers, but also dangerous for lifters. The solution most people reccommend in response is to completely disable wifi, though I would personally take it safe and just turn on airplane mode while I lift. The idea of being so precisely tracked is scary, and luckily only a few stores, mostly high end like Marks and Spencers, but also casual places like Topshop have this tracking system so far.
Be aware and stay safe everyone!
Signal boost đ¨đ¨đ¨
Y'all steal extra hard from grocery stores today for my boss making me work Easter, my last Easter with my family before college (:
That sucks, fuck your boss! Capitalism is out here literally tearing families apart and some don't see anything wrong with it. >:(
How do y'all feel about dining and dashing
Restaurants can legally take the cost of the meal out of waiters' tips, which is their main source of income, so I would say this is one instance where stealing actually does hurt the worker, not the company. The best alternative is to call the restaurant's corporate office and lie about having a bad experience (e.g. they messed up your order twice, the wait was ridiculously long, etc.) corporate will send you gift cards. So, free meal for you, and no underpaid server gets hurt.
Guys What if I stole a dog? Like I wouldnât obviously cause Iâm a minor and live with my parents. But att all pets club if you had two groups of three go in separately during the busiest times and you guys are playing with the puppies and one group wants to see the dog the other group has so you just walk it over while theyâre with another one and then you ask to see if different dog. And make it crazy until the SA doesnât know how many dogs are out in the play stalls(like lifting shoes) and then you put a collar on the one you want and leave. Like would it work? This is what o think of as i play with my dog and her lifted toys
itâs pretty easy to steal pets, honestly. i almost walked out with a long haired german shepherd because he was so fucking cute but i was like, âno, you canât, you live in an apartment! with small dogs!â
so pet stores like petco and petsmart have these days (i think saturdays or something idk) where a ton of adoption agencies come in with dogs / cats / whatever, and theyâll normally let you walk it around the store and come back. you probably wouldnât even have to make it âcrazyâ bc theyâll usually just let you do it.
then just walk it right out the door like it was always yours. ez.
Well thatâs how Iâm gonna get my first dog when I get my own place lmao thank you
Wouldnât you then not have any papers or anything for the dog? Like what if your dog needs shots or something, how would you get them?
Okay so just say you got doggo off Craigslist and maybe ask for a titer test (it shows what vaccines need redone)
Your dog will then have a vaccination record. You donât need a bill of sale or papers to get medical care lol.
My dog was from Craigslist and sheâs being worked as a psychiatric service dog and soon to be double working as a therapy dog once I am able to talk with TDI and my vet. No papers here to be allowed medical care
Also if you cannot afford training, food or etc for an animal without having to steal it in order to even get the cheapest, donât get it please. As someone who works with animals for a living(ish) that makes up a lot of the euths and behavioral issues I have to fix while training so people donât surrender dogs. đ
please listen to u-lift-me-upx. great information there. if you cannot afford or do not have the time to care for an animal - donât.
but! that being said, if you do, here are some necessities you can easily steal for it and where to get them.
toys, bowls, collars, leashes - dollar store. seriously.
food, treats, dog toothpaste, urine remover, flea medication, etc. - your local area pet store. you can get anything there including the above ^^^
if your dog needs VACCINES! i know plenty of people who home-vaccinate (myself included) vaccines can be purchased at tractor supply co. for about $7-15 depending on the dog you have, they last for a year, super affordable. i have 3 dogs so i make them grab 3, they leave me alone, and i only pay for one (cuz the have to open a fridge with the vaccine and a key so you should at least be paying for one)
most âshelterâ dogs are gonna be mutts so you donât really need their papers unless itâs for your own peace of mind. theyâre not going to have an actual breed mix / age, itâs always going to be an approximate anyway.
so, letâs get to the stuff that costs real money. stuff you canât lift.
- heartworm medication - rabies shot - annual check-up (kinda optional as long as theyâre healthy and not sick) - teeth cleanings - in the instance your dog gets sick, vet visits. they will add up depending on the dog.
- time, patience, and love.
the reason that most pet stores have minimal / basically no security is because having a pet, in and of itself, is a luxury. itâs saying âi have enough to take care of myself, now i have excess to take care of something else.â pet store shrink isnât very high and people are willing to splurge on overpriced shit for their cute animal.
das my 2c doe
I know that I Reblogged this earlier but I saw a comment I disagreed with that said please steal from the adoption events because of the horrible places theyâre from. Now during the adoption events they donât normally dont bring a ton of animals, and you also need to research your area and see which shelters are coming from. If itâs a bad kill shelter then definitely take it ,for the love of God please take it but if itâs one like the ones in my local area that are all no kill then please donât take it because youâre taking money from their pocket. With that being said if an animal is in Petco or PetSmart then they are there until they get a home. This is coming from a friend who works there. I found the love of my life aka my cat from a PetSmart and he had been there for a couple of months but he had a beautiful cat habitat and volunteers come in three times a day to make sure theyâre taken out and cared for. I just wanted to add that in but definitely research the shelter thatâs doing the event. I would say go to a pet store thatâs trying to âsellâ animals as opposed to an adoption event.
I say take from privately owned pet stores that are trying to sell animals because I worked at one for years and finally had to quit after college because I couldnât get past the feeling that I was pimping out pets and that half the people that were getting them weâre not going to care for them properly. I know that we donât condone taking from local businesses but typically local pet stores donât take good care of their animals . but this also depends upon the pet store in the area so research research research. Sorry to post again but I just really wanted to add that. The pet store that I work dad would let animals die before taking them to the vet for care unless it was a bird like an African Grey thatâs worth over $1,000. The amount of suffering that I saw with animals broke my heart on a daily basis. It got to the point where I was paying out-of-pocket to take them to the vet because I couldnât stand it so I finally just had to quit because I couldnât afford to do that making minimum wage and being in college but seeing a bunny with wet tail is one of the worst things in the world and also seeing a kid squeeze a hamster to death in the fucking store will scar you for life. A lot of local pet stores are up to no good but it depends totally on the owner. Research babe. Excuse any typos as I was typing this out in a hurry. Good luck finding your new baby! And also Care Credit is a great option for the vet if you have an emergency and donât have any cash and have semi-decentish credit. You can use Care Credit like a credit card there and get flea and heartworm medication and also pay for vet visits and the interest rate is really good for the first six to 12 months.
Omg wow guys this warms my heart that you guys are all pitching in and this information is really good! I currently have a little King Charles spaniel and sheâs the love of my life, we can afford her medical bills and food. .but I canât thank you guys enough for all of the places on were to get things I need for her. Thank again for all this information on how pet stores work I think itâs awful what some places do. When I got my girl she was around $1100 and in the same pen as big dogs who would knock her over and when we took her home she cane down with full blown pneumonia within two days, All Pets Club didnât notice she was sick and all they did was give us $100 back in store credit. Other dogs in that pen also got very sick. In all honestly Iâm Probally buying a rescue dog later in my life, but Iâm sure as hell gonna steal everything from all pets club. Thank you guys again soooo much
this is a great thread and I only have one tiny thing to add: my mom's dog had serious food allergies and could only eat expensive, prescribed food that the vet ordered, not sold in stores. My point, i guess, is you can't always depend on being able to lift food, but this dog was a special case.
guys, i read this question more times than i can answer without sounding like a broken fucking record.
YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO CHECK IF SOMETHING IS TAGGED, FOR YOURSELF. regardless, you should be checking - double checking - triple checking for tags even if someone on liftblr says that IT WASNâT TAGGED!
different stores have different levels of shrink and they will tag things accordingly.
one of my stores doesnât have palettes tagged but they have the cubes of death on their nakeds, they RFID tag SAMPLE SIZES of shit because it gets swiped so often.
another one of my stores is in a higher-class area, they donât have cubes on their palettes but they RFID tag only some of them but they donât tag other palettes (non-naked, smashbox, etc) so itâs a cakewalk.
people give way too much crap to people who lift from big name capitalist stores.
that 6 dollar pair of shades they stuffed in their bra from old navy? no ones going to miss it.
the pleather purse someone took the tags off at target? couldâve been miscounted product.
those earrings they slipped in their bag from Clairâs? chances are it fell off the rack and under the counter gone forever.
what most of you fail to realize is that this shit is worth practically nothing. these companies make huge profits off of minimum wage employees and selling cheap crap for 10 times what itâs worth.
and for any of you who say it âharms the employeesâ. the kind of people who lift canât afford this shit either and are working minimum wages too. why are some store workers worth more to you than others?
long story short, keep stealing. steal anything and everything. steal as much useless stuff as you can. literally no one cares. five finger discounts ftw.
went to a party store to scope, and also to get ideas for my babyâs upcoming first birthday. I want to do an animal-themed party. So I go into this store just to see if they have any security, Iâm fully intending this to be a recon mission, and strictly NO LIFTING.
However, the first thing I see when I get inside is this 6 ft cardboard cutout of none other than our idiot-in-chief. His smug fucking face ruined my day, reminded me he just slaughtered a bunch of innocents in afghanistan, and pissed me off so much I decided I had to steal something. Seriously, what kind of store is so irresponsible they think an infamous hateful, treasonous, war-mongering sex offender is a funny party supply?? i hate the redneck area i live in.
Anyway, rant over. I got these little piĂąata stuffers because I wanted some plastic animals as cake decorations for my babyâs party. Theyâre only 30 cents each but this place was like bristling with cams and there were a million SAs and other shoppers. Wish I could have ripped off all their shit, AND destroyed the D/r/um/pf cutout. :c
I palmed these teeny weeny things, shielded my bag and arm with a big banner while reading its packaging, dumped the animals in my bag and split. Never gonna give that shop my business lmao.
animals - $1.80 hedgehog - $2.00 ice cream eraser - $0.50
\/S small haul thong:$16.50 hipkini:$14.50
total:$31
i didnât bring my purse so i just stuffed these in my shorts lol. also how can two pairs of underwear be $31 these are toooooo expensive
