I’d like to point out that the foster care system didn’t make these claims, it was the shitty school system.

The person in charge of the foster care system for that area actually threw a shitfit and went off on the school district for making these claims. They made it absolutely clear that they weren’t taking kids away for not being able to pay for lunches and that their priority was keeping kids with their families. They were rightfully pissed that their agency was weaponized to collect lunch money from poor kids.

Also, I want to point out that a CEO from a coffee place volunteered to pay the 20K for thr parents and the school board said no because they "think the parents can get the money together themselves".

Everybody says Seb isn’t like Bucky… but he IS. He’s Bucky without a mask on. Bucky’s always wearing some sort of mask. Even around Steve. Seb is what Bucky would be like if he’d had the chance to just ~be~.

Marcus Wiebusch - Der Tag wird kommen (The day will come)

Marcus Wiebusch (some of you may know him as the singer of Kettcar) released a music video for his song Der Tag wird kommen a few days ago. The song and video deal with homophobia in football and detail the struggle a gay professional footballer has to cope with. 

Even if you don’t understand German, the video alone is definitely worth your time!

When my Illustration professor asked me what I wanted to do this semester, I immediately said “I want it to be about PTSD”. For me, it’s an interesting topic, and at the same time it pains me to see that even though it’s high ranked in mental disorders, it’s still very much under the radar in our society. So I wanted to make a comic, and this is going to be my Protagonist, Jake. Losing friends and allies along the way as well as doing things in war nobody even wants to think about has taken its toll on him. I’m not too sure where the story will go yet and how it’s going to end, but wish me luck.
