Hey there friend! Thank you for reading my fic and for reaching out. I am by no means an expert but I will give you the best advice I possibly can. In my experience, don’t pressure yourself too much to find an exact label, or be accepting that your label might evolve throughout your lifetime. Gender and sexuality are a spectrum, and we don’t have to have fixed points on that spectrum. I always enjoyed finding a label because it helped me understand who I was, and I spent a lot of time trying to shove myself into boxes because of it. Over the years I’ve been bi, then a lesbian, then back to bi, then queer, then pan, and right now I would consider myself bi again. The label that fits me best has changed like clothing I’ve grown into.
What I’m trying to say is, it’s okay to not know exactly what you are. It’s okay to call yourself something and change it later, or to label yourself without experience to back it up. Don’t put too much pressure on yourself to know yet. My inbox is always open if you have more questions, and more than anything enjoy the journey of learning more about yourself. Take care, nonny.
