STAR GUARDIAN TRIPLETS.

image

The Ho(e)ly Trinity™, as dubbed by izzy.

first off, she goes by the name symarah as her middle sister was actually named syndra. her youngest triplet was named sinara. if someone calls her by either of her sisters’ name, she won’t be offended.

they all draw from the same pool of power, rendering both powerless if the last one drains it. with their power comes a telepathy, keeping the trio in tune with their sisters’ thoughts at all times as if it were their own mind. because of this they can make snap decisions in and out of battle, making them a nightmare to face on any court be it the sky itself or in the sands of volleyball.

the three familiars each represents one of the trio, the grumpy one for sym, the bright eyed for syn, and the heart eyed for sin. sym is the most brutal of the trio, no nonsense and often found dragging her sisters about. bright eyed and more optimistic than her mother hen of an older sister, syn is the glue that holds them together. she’s the reason the trio enrolled into drama club, her flair for acting what taught them how to act like each other at the snap of a finger. at the youngest, sin is free to be flirty and tends to show it far more than the other two. she’s easily distinguished by her lighter voice and louder personality. together, they balance each other out.

unfortunately for sym and syn, sin is the only one with perfect vision. sym, born wholly blind, relies upon her sisters’ to see, flashing into their minds for a split second at a time to gauge a situation. it’s become an instinct to her by now, with their minds open to her to act as a crutch when she cannot rely on their massive pool of magic during combat. still, her reactions tend to be slower than both of her younger sisters so she does her best to make it up in book smarts. syn, at least, has one working eye. her left eye, however, has never worked since birth. sin, on the other hand, has perfect 20/20 vision. both her sisters tend to depend on her more than each other for sight.

Careful Syn, he might have diseases. ‘ She’s sprawled gracefully across two desks, not bothering to even turn her head at her sister and the boy she’s conversing with. If not Ezreal, she doesn’t care for him. That boy, at least, proved himself to be a part of their team.
Stocking clad legs propped up on the desk before her, she doesn’t care who frowns upon her. Lips don’t move save for the smile that threatens to tug at it as she picks at her perfectly rounded nails. Ah, the perks of telepathy.

On the outside, she was using one of her sister's favorite tricks; one she was known for. Pretend to be uninterested. It kept Sin entertained to see how far she could push these boys to go. How much they would be willing to do to obtain and keep her attention. It was fascinating and Syndra wasn’t about to turn down this opportunity. Her lips were pushed in a subtle pout and she even feigned a yawn.

On the inside, however, she was laughing right into her sister’s head. She couldn’t help it, this was just too easy! Desperate, simple boys.

He think’s I’m Sin! She was cackling.  I’m starting to get why she thinks this is so much fun. He’s so nervous, aww! A pathetic thing.

Some more Star Guardian Syndra headcanons.

Syndra is one of, if not the only Guardian that understands Darkness just as well as she understands Light. She knows that for there to be a balance in the universe, both light and dark have to exist. She finds it naive to want to eradicate one or the other completely. Without Light, the universe would be overcome with terrible Darkness and would fall prey to terrible things. But, alternatively, she also knows that without Darkness, the blinding Light would burn everything it touches and destroy. Too bright. Light left unchecked is just as dangerous as Dark left unchecked.

This is why she wields dark magic. She embraces the side that most are too afraid of simply because it’s Dark. She is strong enough to harness that darkness and bend it to her will. To control it like no one ever has. And she does this while still being a beacon of Light herself, blessed by the First Star. This is where her belief comes from. That she was blessed by Light and given such a Dark power. It’s all about balance. One can not exist without the other, no matter what the other Guardians think.

This isn’t an opinion she will share with anyone. She assumes it would be considered blasphemous so she keeps it to herself to avoid any unnecessary confrontation about the subject. To embrace the very thing they fight against would almost definitely make her already weary teammates even more uneasy. She doesn’t explain her magic, she doesn’t talk about her power in detail. She keeps a lot of secrets, even from Ahri.

But at the end of the day, Syndra fights to keep the balance in the universe. Not to snuff out the darkness completely.

Some Star Guardian headcanons.

I have a feeling Star Guardian Syndra’s motives are still to attain more power. That’s just embedded into Syndra’s character no matter where or who she is. Her natural power growth is still a factor as well but it’s part of the mystery as to where it’s coming from and how she’s obtaining it. She’ll tell you the First Star recognized her potential and has blessed her with magnificent power because of that, but I don’t believe that’s the entire truth.

As far as the tie in between her in game passive and the lore, I think that as she currently stands with this new team, all her skills are either maxed out and powered up or are about to be simply because she’s a veteran and has done this all before like Janna. She’s powerful. One of the most, in fact, if not the most. Though, judging power levels among the Guardians isn’t the easiest as they’re all very good at what they do.

I can’t imagine Syndra’s end state to be anything other than a Dark Star. Her continuous search for power and her ambition will probably lead her down a road that she won’t be able to come back from. This is probably well in the future, though. Not anytime soon. But that’s her eventual end state, I think. Syndra never gets a happy ending.

Load into draft. Normals, just draft pick. Get support like I wanted. Hover Soraka. Adc intentionally doesn’t ban. Picks Soraka. I ask why. They proceed to say how they’ve had shitty ranked games and their champion got banned and they don’t care. They take smite and cleanse. I pick Lux and decide to just try and farm in lane. Spam pings because I’m stealing farm from the adc Soraka with smite and cleanse. All chat commences. Somehow this Soraka convinces everyone on our team aside from my boyfriend and everyone on the enemy team that somehow I’m in the wrong and I end up getting reported en masse.
