Hello all, I know it's been a while since I posted about my fics. I decided to take a little bit of a break after finishing Caught in the Rapture. But I wanted to pop in and let you all know I've started my reread of Bound to You so I can finally write the last chapters. I also plan to write the last two chapters for Rumor Has It. Thank you for your continued patience and support. You won't be disappointed! ;)

You know what I was thinking? What’s that? Let’s get married. Don’t… Don’t we need, like, a preacher, or something? What about the rings? What about rings? I mean, for future reference, I like princess cut. I like emerald cut. Never pear shape. I got an idea. I give you this sweaty piece of my father’s bandana as a token of my love. It’s perfect.

So I didn't like Sarah cheating but when John B said how could you do this my dad was kidnaped, I was just like bro how the hell is she supposed to know that you didn't talk to her or confide in her at all. Girl isn't a mind reader.

I am about to be SO unpopular but I thought John B was so incredibly selfish this season. While it's DEFINITELY a big deal that his dad got kidnapped and is alive, etc, Sarah has ALSO been dealing with MAJOR family issues. John B has a SOLE focus this season. He came out of it eventually, but even when Kiara was kidnapped he was more focused on the gold and his dad then finding her! JJ had to be, like, DUDE ... who gives a damn about the gold? Our friend could be dead? HELLO?

In the sense of was it thoughtless and wrong? Of course,it was. From a moral standpoint, obviously, it was bad.

BUT.

When looking at the STORY, how John B was behaving, what Sarah has been through, and where her mentality was at that moment ... I think it made sense for her arc! She has lost EVERYONE in her family — besides her little sister who she can't contact, more or less — she has no home, and her boyfriend, or husband, or whatever, is busy doing other things and putting his own needs first. She reverted to what felt safe and comfortable. Not just Topper – yes, him, because he's WEIRDLY obsessed with her but does take care of her whenever she needs it – but also her old "friends." She wanted to forget and feel safe for a night. And she made some stupid decisions while doing that.
