Here's something I forgot to brag about - I've heard many people looking at our pride stuff say they'd get it, but they are not out/wouldn't feel comfortable with their pride flags so out in the open.
I think it's okay to not be out and proud for many reasons, so i feel strongly about it. Because I myself live in a conservative country and I wouldn't feel safe wearing my own designs in public. So I was thinking about it and came up with these ~subtle~ pride designs.
It's not all I'd like to do but these are all I had ideas for. You can get in on our Etsy, if you'd like. I'm really pleased with how they came out (haha)

People used to comment on web comics.
People used to comment on fanfiction.

People used to comment on OCs.
I hate "content" culture.
I hate "consuming content" and scrolling immediately to the next thing.
People used to be excited about the art that other people created.
People used to want to share that excitement with creators.
I hate this future.
Once someone tagged art that I made with "woah" and I think about it at least once a week. Someone else said "oh neat" once. Someone else WROTE A WHOLE DAMN POEM IN THE COMMENTS. Anyways even just one word can change how someone sees their art. You don't even have to think about it too hard. You could put a keyboard smash and I'd probably cry from joy.
I'm also trying hard to interact more, I understand that it's hard to break away from opening your phone and being in Content Consumption Mode.
#one of the reasons i miss good old deviantart times#i had waaaaaaaaaaay less engagement with my art but looking at the comment section was such a joy to me#and it really made me feel like a part of a community you know? because i was also commenting#and all the interactions made me more motivated to do art basically#reading tags on here is also really important and it makes me so so so happy#so thanks for each little reaction shared under my silly little drawings#it's so important#i try to comment more myself - here under art and gifsets on ao3 and on yt as well#let's look out for eachother ❤️ and one tiny 'woah' in tags may make someone not only happy but also motivated to do what they like to do!#because creating art is fun and should be fulfilling to the artist yadda yadda but a sign that someone's also liking it is super important#I'm not trying to guilt trip anyone#just if sometimes you think something nice - you can write it down for an artist to see and you can believe me it will be appreciated ❤️#done with my rambling
