All Cats Have Autism

@asdcats / asdcats.tumblr.com

This is a blog for anyone on the/wanting to learn about the Autistic spectrum. I do post other disability and lgbtqia things, (as well as stuff I think is really funny/neat). If you need anything tagged ask me. (Just having a list on your blog won't be any good for me). I run two events from this blog stimmysaturday and special interest Sunday. You can submit stuff for these any time. header by shaneisadragon. Main blog/insta: theunseeliemperoress

Seeing it seems I need to say this:

Aces and Aros are lgbt+ (yes even the het ones)

You don't need dysphoria or euphoria to be trans. All you need is to not identify with the gender you were assigned at birth.

Xenogenders and neurogenders are real

Neo pronouns are good

Pan people are not bi or transphobic just by being pan.

Bi people aren't secretly straight or morally bad because they're bi.

While it is okay to not use the label for yourself Queer is not a slur.

She/Her gays and He/Him lesbians are valid

Pronouns have no gender

No one owes you their full identity (gender, sexuality etc), if they want to say they're queer/lgbtqia and leave it at that that's fine.

Hey I keep thinking about this question.

For further elaboration; you will be perfectly healthy without it, and face no complications relating specifically to that thing. You can still get exhausted from physical work and need to sit down and rest, but you won't have to be completely unconscious to recover. Likewise, your nutrients will stay balanced and you stay at your current weight, but you won't need any food. You can drink if you want, but its not needed if you don't eat.

And you absolutely CANNOT do what you choose ever again. no enjoying good food or enjoying a comfortable nap. Make your choice.

Reblog if you want it will be appreciated 👍

Ifvi had to feel tired for any reason I would not choose sleep if I could just stay awake without ever feeling tired, let's go. Jokes on you, I hate waking up. I'm already perpetually hungry anyhow, and my meds are super touchy about my diet anyhow, so going without food .ifht as well. I'd be perpetually hangry, though, sorry wife.

I don't know if I've ever mentioned it before but since I've started posting their again more regularly I'll mention that I have a writing blog

@thewritenerd is my blog for my short stories, poems, and progress updates of any original novels I'm working on. As well as some general writing stuff/refrences I come across

let’s remove the question if it’s livable and just focus on the max you can do in terms of comfortability. So you’re not too tired/burnt out at the end of the day.

always and forever <3 the world is completely different for chronically ill people

I got the wonderful opportunity to see Labyrinth on the big screen last week (thank you Fathom Events) and I think this time around really helped me nail down one of the things that makes this movie so special to me: the ending message.

A story with a somewhat childish sixteen-year-old girl who immerses herself in magic and fantasy worlds who goes through a journey and a transformation and comes out the other side more mature could very easily have ended with the message of "Now that the adventure in the fantasy world is over, our heroine has grown and matured enough to leave magic and fantasy behind and become an Adult."

But Labyrinth doesn't do that.

Labyrinth says: "You might grow up a little. You might put away your costumes and your music box and your crown. You might give your teddy bear to your little brother. But that doesn't mean you have to leave it all behind. Every so often in your life, for no reason at all, you might need a little magic back in your life. And your friends in the fantasy world will always be there for you."

"Should you need them."

Review of a butterfly farm… 🦋

boggblog

I interned at a place w butterflies and had to tell a mom to please stop offering the “snacks” on the pedestals to her kids and we had to give a speech to all the ppl who entered which I added lines to daily. Including the infamous “butterflies like fruit that’s a little older than what we eat, so the fruit is just for them! Please don’t eat it!” And “please please please please please don’t come in here if you’re afraid of butterflies.” It was the closest thing to hell I’ve ever experienced

*going to a butterfly farm* there better not be any fuckin butterflies in here

after finding out a lot of friends haven't seen movies I consider formative to childhood (I grew up in South America, so they definitely had international reach!) I'm curious to know just how many haven't seen some of these... uh, let's call them children's classics.

Due to the list of potentials being massive, I'll restrict this to the 1980s, and not include Disney animated movies i can't promise there won't be further polls

(feel free to sound off in tags the ones you haven't seen, if it's more than one!)

All of these are good but if you haven't watched Secret of NIMH please look into it it's such a good film and I think it's the best animation America in the 80s produced bar none.

Also my very first baby crush in the world was on Justin and that probably says things about me XD
