Hi mod lumlums here to explain what went down in a polite manner and to offer my sincere apologies on behalf of all mods here at Carekids, I realize many people are upset/concerned/angry and this should have been handled sooner but I wanted to take the time to write down a concise post about how me and frisk feel about everything that happened.
When people are scared or nervous they make poor choices and we are all still learning. When those asks were posted no other mods were informed which is why it’s taken us so long to rectify this. We do not agree with Lucky’s actions but we forgive them because we know it was a mistake and everyone deserves a second chance. As of now Lucky is no longer a mod and there are only two active mods, myself and frisk.
I feel like I should point out Lucky is also a minor who made a mistake and we should have communicated more as a group to fully resolve these issues but we did not and for that I take full responsibility. In the future we will all run this group more efficiently and with less of a hot temper.
Paciroar has been inactive on this blog and that blog for months too and has been under a tremendous amount of abuse and stress and may not have been fully aware of what they posted. We all realize what they wrote was bad and we do not condone it but we believe at the heart of this issue is a misunderstanding.
Suicide baiting is a term that means talking to a person and telling them to kill themselves. Paciroar made a (badly worded) description listing who they didn’t want to interact, but made the mistake of listing kidhearts with people like pedophiles and kinksters and expressed their discomfort of people who have abused them in a violent way. Kidhearts got mixed up in this unintentionally and we do not condone suicide baiting but as victims of abuse by pedophiles, kinksters, and others we understand the sentiments of wanting people who have hurt us to hurt like they hurt us.
Regardless, kidhearts did not deserve to get involved in this and it is not right for anyone to get suicide messages as it is a very serious issue. We are terribly sorry for all the issues that have occurred.
I just feel like I need to remind you that we are not perfect, we cannot control every other person’s actions or how someone feels. We can only control our own actions and in many ways we have not done that but I still have hope for carekids. We just need a break for everyone to cool down and recover.
Because of all these issues and conflicting schedules the last few active mods have agreed that it would be best to temporarily shut down the blog until we have more energy to run it. Some pictures may be queued at times but it will be very quiet and our ask box will be closed.
If people still want to use the tag they are free to as there is nothing unsafe about it. I understand some people may still be too angry at how we handled things to trust us and I understand. You do not have to interact with anyone you do not feel comfortable with, all I ask is that everyone is kind and avoids rather than confronts people who they do not wish to interact with.
Again, we apologize that things escalated to this point, and we never want anyone to get death threats.
If people need to contact the mods of this blog feel free to @ us and the remaining mods will do their best to reply to you in as swift a manner as we can.

Disordered systems are ones with DID/OSDD. Non-disordered systems are ones without. Walkins are a particular type of systemmate, usually associated with spiritual origins, but some disordered systems may have mixed beliefs as to their systemmates' origins. Hence, walkin can be used by just about any type of system. But, my entire point here is that blocking people from a community blog seems like an attempt to bar them from the community itself.
Sorry i think there's some confusion here on both our parts. Similarly, there are people who have experienced *their* version of a particular person as being horrible - or who experienced a horrible person as quite nice, depending on their canon. Im not sure what a walkin is but we definitely don't stop people with DID/OSDD from joining? I have DID so... And having a dissociative disorder has nothing to do with an ID and there's nothing bad about it.-Mod Frisk
