She stares at him blankly, a small sigh leaving her lips as she cards her fingers through her hair. 

“ But I told them you’d go already. ” she warns. “ You shouldn’t have agreed to a blind date if you’re going to just back out at the last minute you know? ” 

Minkyung takes note at the guilty expression on his face and finds herself immediately caving in. She reaches an arm out, patting his shoulder in a reassuring manner before she fishes for her phone, typing a few quick words to her friend explaining why her date would no longer be coming. “ I hope you know I won’t let you hear the last of this. That sunbae’s in college right now studying to be a doctor too! ” There had always been a sense of closeness between them regardless of their age difference. To the point that she no longer felt the need to try and be so formal around him all the time.

Lisa had been one of the people that Minkyung took an immediate liking to as soon as the girl transferred into her school. A year older than Minkyung, Lisa had been too shy to approach anyone, and making friends proved not to be easy due to the language barriers; but Minkyung was persistent, always sitting in front of her, or next to her at lunch and in class, until she finally began to open up. 

Shaking herself out of her reverie at the sound of the latter’s voice, she quickly turns around, the corners of her lips tugging up to form a cheeky grin, eyes forming into small crescents before she flings an arm around the female’s shoulder. Drawing her closer for warmth.

Her laugh echoes throughout the empty hotel lobby. The time on the clock reading just five minutes past two in the morning. 

Minkyung had been on her way back to her hotel room, body sluggish from all the activities that had occurred just a few hours ago, when she spots a rather familiar man crouched behind the sofa. She curiously tilts her head to the side, squinting as she tries to focus on what the latter was up to. It was then that she finally realizes just what had been going on.

“ It’s not my fault you’re out here in nothing but your boxers you know? ”

She listens to him anyway, turning around completely just as he had asked her to do.

A small pout graces the female’s lips as she stares down at her phone. Shoulders hunching in complete dejection. To say that she wasn’t excited that Sowon finally found time to go out with her was a complete understatement. Minkyung had even taken the time to plan their whole day out knowing fully well how limited her time was.

An excited Minkyung links her arms around Jaebum’s, eyes wandering at the variety of stalls laid out in front of them. “ 야 엉이 buy me this! ” A good six months had passed since she last saw him, so it comes as a complete surprise when he shows up at her house, gifts in tow from the different places he’d visited while on tour. Her parents had been more than happy to let her go, nodding their head as he tells them he’d make sure she was back by eight. They trusted him of course, their families had been friends even before Jaebum had gotten famous, and Minkyung remembers spending countless summers picnicking in his family’s backyard.Her body immediately freezes at his words. Gaze traveling up to meet his own as she consciously tugged at her hood, making sure to pull it low enough so that it covered half of her face. “ I told you we should have just stayed in today stupid. ” It was rather ironic really, that the one time he actually has enough spare time in his schedule to spend time with her, they end up being followed by fans.

The two girls had been peacefully walking around the streets of Hongdae before she finds herself being pulled off to the side. A hint of worry flashing across her eyes as she abruptly turns around. Minkyung’s eyes shift towards the female beside her, a confused expression written on her face. “ Wait why? What’s going on? ” Nonetheless she decides to finally listen for once, keeping as still as she could given the limited amount of space there was in the alley they were currently in.
