Hiatus update

Hey all, I was planning to check in with an update anyways, but the release of all the big Sinnoh news just happened to line up, too. I’m hyped for more worldbuilding both for here (bc who says these two never went to Hisui?) and for Falk’s ancient verse.

However! As much as I’m chomping at the bit to be back here, I may be out of commission a little longer. Summer camps have ended, and while this has had an immediate positive impact on my mental health (I loved camps, but boy was it rough this year), I still have a lot of big decisions to make, and I’m shaky at best. I’m also looking into the future (either replacing my retail job, or maybe taking some classing part-time in the Spring), which is very stressful for me. On top of that is a lot of events, including one of my cousin’s weddings.

So I’m estimating I’ll be back near the end of September. I may sneak on to do little things here and there (Charlie is still far from trained, but I’m at least able to occasionally be on the computer, like right now), but for the most part consider the hiatus continued.

Hiatus notice

((Alright, it's three hours later, and I think I've decided it's best I take a hiatus. I'm in a very bad place mentally, and for the most part I just feel unwanted in the community. There are those who I know care about me, and honestly they are amazing, but they're a tiny minority and I don't want to monopolize them. So for who knows how long, I'm going away.

I'll be checking in maybe once a week just to see if there are any replies or maybe ask answers, or maybe post art like I did last night, but that's it.

When I come back I'll probably also unfollow a lot of blogs I've tried to interact with that have shown no interest in me or my muses, because honestly that hurts a lot too. Like I get they can't interact with everyone, and that's fair, but when I send every meme I constantly can and never get any back or even a like on any post, I really shouldn't be giving them my time. I can't do all of them, because then I'd miss a lot of what going on with the dash, but I'll do what I can. Maybe that will make things better.
