ok so, Diana is a redhead and she’s sitting on a rooftop in London with a glass of red wine in her hand, eyes fiery, and as the song starts she has flashbacks to a brunette in her bed with her with her t-shirt on and getting out of bed, slipping into some trouers and leaving, and then Diana spills her red wine all over her white shirt and curses
cut to the chorus where all the boys are playing in the Abbey Road studios, Harry on guitar, Niall on bass in an attempt to try something new, Liam attempting to drum and Louis blowing some trumpets but failing (while Harry can’t stop grinning at his guitar because he finally fucking made it happen)
then back to the verse and Olivia is on another rooftop, staring at the sunset, still in Diana’s shirt, and she’s texting some people but she can’t quite get it right and she feels like no one gets her, and both Diana and Olivia are staring at the same sky, they just don’t know it yet
Then Niall’s name pops up on Olivia’s phone and Harry’s on Diana’s, telling them to go to Abbey Road and get some drinks because they heard what happened and they’re here for moral support
and as the bridge starts and Harry’s screaming about the summertime and butterflies, they get lured into the studio, get one last look at the boys giggling and Niall yelling ‘CHEERS’ and then the door slams shut and they’re alone
… and eventually they reconcile and kiss while falling over the drum kit and into a heap on the floor, making out in an iconic studio people would kill to record in while the boys sit in a pub and toast to a plan well executed
