You’re right - it’s disappointing to everyone who can’t afford it financially.
It’s more expensive than a year’s worth of tier three Mythical Society.
It just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
What the fuck are these ticket prices for Mythicon? $300 (PLUS FEES!) for the cheapest? It really feels like a way to make even more money. Especially since they know MBs will pay for it. Come on.

Ummmm, so I finally finished and submitted my spousal visa application. Long fucking time coming, but it’s done. I still have one loose end to tie up, but that can wait for tonight (or tomorrow).
Okay. Everything is finally submitted. I scanned all of my documents, got my biometrics done, paid lots of money, and now just have to wait. The clerk was impressed with my documents/organization, too, which makes me feel relieved in and of itself.
My hubby and I have been waiting for so long to get to this point. I’ve not been able to stop smiling since I got home. 🥰
Now, we’ve just got to wait a little bit more for the decision.

Its funny, I actually watch Mythical Kitchen more than GMM. Its food yeah, but its structured. And watching a man boil mountain dew into a terrifying blue-green syrup is more entertaining to me than watching two men just eat for 10 min. I love r&l but if they're gonna keep up with the food, maybe they should be more involved with the food. Like those dumb mall food court "hacks".

Unfortunately the numbers don't reflect people being unhappy or bored with GMM. Food episodes rake in the views and people eat it up (no pun intended lol). Their vlogs were very successful, but a lot of the non-eating related vids on the gmm channel just don't do as well. And i'd love to say that they shouldn't only care about the money side of it, but I think they want/need that consistent security while they work on other ideas-just wish we knew what that was so we could understand!
I totally get it. Because they’ve got so many people on their pay roll, they have to make enough to pay their employees. Like I mentioned before, they’ve kind of painted themselves into a corner.
What would happen if they did another “sketch-tober”? Silly 5 minute scripted (by them) videos! I just want some new type of content.

I'll be honest, I'm ridiculously easy to please and could watch them read a phone book and be happy. But I agree, I do think some transparency would be most helpful. Like, are they creatively stuck and burnt out? Are they just really limited as far as what they can do because of COVID? Are they planning other things? Just a little bit of something, y'know? Who knows, maybe things will be different/better over the summer or after the summer break. Time will tell, I guess!
And maybe all of the things they were working on just didn’t pan out. Obviously we won’t know unless they share with us.
Hopefully once everyone gets vaccinated, content will be more varied and exciting.
