say what you will about the "inconvience" or whatever of tumblr and how tiktok and instagram are so much "faster" and more "efficient". there is nothing more poetic than being forced to pick and choose what you spend your time doing on this site. it takes a solid ten seconds to reblog a post on desktop, IF it loads properly. and who's to say it doesn't glitch and trap you in a loading screen for eternity. i fucking love actually being forced to manange my time wisely because it makes what i spend time on all the more important. i dont have the app anymore. i dont like this fast paced doomscrolling. give me my shitty desktop mobile and let me spend a full minute rebligging a singular post

It's not r*pe, it's rape. It's not su*cide, it's suicide. Not unalive, dead. The backbone needs to be reintroduced en masse because softening the blow of these concepts with advertising language does absolutely nothing but allow people unaffected by them to feel not even a sting of what they can do, prompting inaction.

And it's been proven that on certain websites, you don't even face a repercussion for using the words as they are. People just started censoring themselves because they feared the potential lack of views and likes and followers which is so nasty itself.
