I hate when you love a character who’s like a kid or a teenager and they so perfectly capture the flaws and struggles of being that age and not understanding everything fully yet or necessarily making the best choices especially when they’re in a very painful or complex situation and they feel so real and human because of it and then you go online and there’s someone who’s like “they’re DUMB and EVIL and SELFISH because of [important moment in their character arc when they messed up and learned from it or broke under pressure or didn’t have the courage to do an incredibly difficult thing or responded realistically to their truly horrifying circumstances]”

hc that minerva mcgonagall’s biggest nightmare in hogwarts is not any of the potter kids, but harry potter himself. harry would make any excuse and pull any card in the book to go to hogwarts during the school year to check up on his babies because that man has a separation anxiety that rivals no other (except maybe ron’s, but he’s not head auror is he?). he will lodge fake complaints to visit that school for a ‘check in.’ he will write up fake reports of a extremely dangerous creature being spotted near the grounds to ‘investigate.’ he will say theres been talk of [insert dangerous object] stashed somewhere in the room of requirement. and all of these concerns are resolved within a day, and get more and more creative as the years go on. eventually minerva stops questioning how playing an hour long chess match with his daughter is investigating and lets that man run wild.

update: my breaks are fucked up and refused to unbreak and basically locked my wheel still so the road assistance guy (the friendliest man on the planet btw) bashed it with a hammer to unstick it 😭😭 then said I needed to get it into a garage literally now cause it could stop turning whilst I was mid driving and thats super dangerous 🧍🏻‍♂️🧍🏻‍♂️ so he called my garage for me and explained what was happening because I didn't have a clue what he was saying to me in his complicated mechanic terms, I don't understand cars okay, and then he followed me to the garage to make sure they didn't stick mid drive 😭😭 and the garage said they'd fix it tomorrow 👍🏻👍🏻 no class for me then I guess 💀💀 BUT VERY GLAD IT DIDNT STOP WORKING MID DRIVING UHHHHH
