Sales of Spooky and Spice zine begin this week. All proceeds benefit Shriners hospitals.

We regretfully announce that sales will be delayed and will no longer begin on October 1st. We want to ensure a quality zine that all contributors have had a chance to view before sales begin, and for that we need a little more time ! We are hoping for sales to start no later than October 15, with the aim of October 7th.

We are an open zine , so if you submitted a google form then you are accepted to the zine.
General emails about deadlines will go out to the entire project list and are not a reflection on whether you have submitted a check in or not. :)

If we aren't able to participate in the zine anymore, is it okay to not participate anymore if we tell a moderator?
That’s totally fine! Real life comes first. The best way to drop is to email spookyandspicezine@gmail.com so all mods can see it
Also, our philosophy is that everyone works differently and the checkins are a time management tool and not a requirement. If you miss the first few checkins but submit a finished product you will be in the zine !
We appreciate if you let us know that you still plan to participate by filling out the checkin forms even if you don’t have any progress to share.
There is no penalty if you have to drop out at any point of the process.

Hello! We have a FAQ At spookyspicezine.tumblr.com/faq and will be working on a mobile version.
Spooky and Spice is inclusive, so everyone who applies is automatically accepted. Completing the app gives you a link to our discord server. Emails will be sent to all participants after applications close.
We are also a charity zine, proceeds will benefit the Shriners hospitals.
The Shriners hospitals are an organization of 22 hospitals in North America that provide treatment to children regardless of ability to pay.
