My favorite tumblr blog just got deleted or something and I am so upset. I didn't delete it and I didn't get any notification about it being terminated. I had so many friends who knew me from that blog and I can make a new blog and find them again but I had so many posts on there that I loved that I just don't have anymore. I contacted support but I'm not sure if my blog and all of the content will be able to be recovered.

He had committed no crime. He was not suspected of any crime. Police saw him, a Black kid wearing a ski mask, and decided to murder him for it WITH THE HELP of paramedics. He was a sweet kid who literally played his violin for kittens in a shelter in his free time and he died apologizing to his murderers for not being able to breathe.

During the 2020 George Floyd protests, the anger, the protesting, and the rioting was at least as much about him as it was about George Floyd in the Denver/Aurora area. Local violinists showed up to a protest to perform in memory of him and they were tear gassed for it.

One of the cops was recently acquitted and got to keep his job and walk away with $200,000 in back pay.

People who wear ski masks aren't the issue. Cops are. They will ALWAYS be the bigger threat.

Addendum to this: make sure you do this in a well-ventilated space or keep your windows cracked. Just enough to keep the airflow going.

I know that might seem counterintuitive to trying to stay warm, but it’s better than getting carbon monoxide poisoning, which can occur if you burn candles in an enclosed space for too long. It can take several hours for a single candle to build up enough carbon monoxide in an enclosed room to cause health problems, but if you’re burning more than one, as is suggested in the video, that time frame is much shorter.

Also, get yourself a battery-powered carbon monoxide alarm. They’re cheap and they’ll keep working once the power goes out.

Also! Notice how his candles are the “in a bucket” type? If you try this with pillar candles or similar, the heat it stores in the terracotta will melt the candle into a puddle of now-burning wax.

Have your candle in a container. Bucket, glass jar, empty can. something.

Also confine yourself to one room. Put blankets up in the doorways (nails, staples, tape, whatever keeps them up there) and stay in that one room as much as possible. Put any excess rugs or blankets on the floor. This really helps keep the cold from seeping up through your floors. When you go to sleep lay on top of an extra blanket. This will help with how much of your body heat sinks down into your mattress. Try not to get sweaty. If you get sweaty your going to get cold. Don’t wear things that are too constricting, especially on your feet. If your feet can’t get proper blood flow they’re going to get severely cold

"A Child’s View from Gaza" was an art exhibition showcasing drawings created by the children of Gaza.

"The captioned illustrations were created by Palestinian children who lived through the Israeli bombardment of Gaza in 2008-09. The pictures were drawn as part of an effort to help children deal with the horrors they had experienced. A Bay Area nonprofit, Middle East Children’s Alliance (MECA), arranged to display a collection of these pictures at the Museum of Children’s Art in Oakland, California. However, under pressure from the Jewish Federation of the East Bay and other organizations, the museum backed out of the agreement at the last minute."

The bodies of the martyrs were buried in a mass grave in Khan Yunis after they were detained by the Israeli occupation in Al-Shifa Medical Complex and Beit Hanoun Hospital a few days ago They numbered 111 martyrs.
