no. in my answer where i mentioned two hours before christmas, i said you should NOT leave me in the dark when christmas is two hours away. it was an example due to the fact that i had multiple people drop their assignments without telling me last year and i had to scramble and find enough pinch hitters.

the deadline is december 20th, if you need extra time then let me know and we can work something out. but PLEASE do NOT submit two hours before the release date. i beg of you.

i’m going to be completely honest with you, my friend. i completely forgot about the check in 😅. i blame that on my hellscape of a schedule (i forgot to put it in my calendar). but thank you very much for reminding me!

i don’t have time to formulate much of a formal check in this year. but, fortunately for me, this year is a bit more intimate due to the fact that there aren’t too many people a part of the exchange.

if anyone has any questions or concerns, let me know and i’ll resolve them as best i can. if you have the inclination that you might not be able to finish your work or you’ve gotten to the point you want to drop your gift. let me know. i won’t judge you and it’s a lot easier for my anxious heart to deal with that decision now rather than not hearing back from you when christmas is two hours away and you’ve submitted nothing, told me nothing, and left your person with nothing.

hello! sorry, but i’m not a part of the summer challenge and therefore cannot answer that question exactly. the only thing i could think that could possibly explain that is if you looked up the summary, which lists the requested tags (tags of which aren’t usually put equally). but if you mean the people (as in the sign-ups) themselves, then that’s the creators oopsie or a some sort of glitch, because your sign up shouldn’t be confirmed if you don’t put information in for both a request AND and offer.

the check in is something i’ve made very low key.

last year i made a google form for you all to fill out, but not everyone responded. so this year i might cc you all in one email and just ask you to respond if you need accommodations or you can’t finish in time.

i’m still trying to find the best way to get everyone’s attention, but the check in is really just a reminder to those of you that may have forgotten or need a reminder that the due date is coming up.
