my signature sim look is probably in between maxis match and maxis inspired - almost all of my cc is maxis match (especially hair, genetics and shoes) but i have a few clothing pieces which are quite alpha but get away with maxis mix on a few swatches?? idk how else to explain it 😅 when i first started downloading cc i had mainly alpha hairs and even build cc but it wasn’t long before i changed to the style i have now (in the very early days of my simblr!)

I use mostly all maxis match cc but I am a sucker for freckles and those as well as my tattoos are more alpha-ish. Also some of my makeup, but I feel like with skin/facial details it’s less obvious when it’s alpha than clothing. I think I had alpha for less than a week or so when I first played with cc and I never used build cc!

honestly reputable breeders are really important for the future of dogs if we want to continue having them, it’s rlly dumb to be anti-all breeders

if everyone stopped breeding dogs all we’d have is oopsy litters without any thought into the health status of the pups, which really wouldn’t be good for dogs as a species

the problem really is that somewhere standards stopped rewarding functionality over aesthetic when everyone should be breeding for functionality even if it means crossbreeding

I’m pro adopt don’t shop but this right here is so important. There are many reasons for wanting a dog from a breeder (service dog, hypoallergenic, etc), and as long as a breeder is responsible (has rules where you need to bring them back if you can’t take care of them, microchips with the breeder’s info) the animals in question are put into good homes. It’s really just the backyard breeders and puppy mills I have an issue with. I would never purchase a dog but I understand the reasons why some do

After working on this project for weeks, my personal edit of the original not so berry rules is done! I love all sorts of challenges, but sometimes I feel like challenges don’t get as much out of the ts4 game as they’re able to. So, I’ve decided to edit the original rules of the nsb challenge made by @lilsimsie and add more objectives + make the entire challenge more cohesive. I do have to mention that I did alter certain generations or gave them an entire overhaul but still all credit goes to lilsimsie for making the challenge to begin with!
