How long has "Amelia Cole" been the name of a character of yours? My Amelia Cole had her seventh birthday this year.

The first issues came out in 2012, but the project was started a year or two before that. So there ya go!

Writers: Adam P. Knave (@adampknave) & D.J. Kirkbride (@djkirkbride) Artist & Colorist: Nick Brokenshire (@nickbrokenshire) Letterer: Rachel Deering (@theironrachel) Price: $0.99 Pages: 22 Rating: 12+

It’s the penultimate issue of AMELIA COLE! Anything we say would undersell it and be a spoiler, but remember: there are no reboots. Everything counts, and no punches are pulled as everyone bands together with Amelia to fight The Council! This is a big one, to put it mildly.

IDW President Greg Goldstein, VP of Marketing Dirk Wood, and editor Sarah Gaydos for a lively discussion of your favorite Publisher’s upcoming schedule! Top Secret Reveals! Prizes! Q&A! Announcements…Including one so big it will make your head spin! If you attend one comic panel at this show, this is the one!

God is Disappointed in You 2: Apocrypha Now, Sunday, April 10th, 2:30p.m. – 3:30p.m. Room: T301 RSVP

It’s the second coming! Their first book, God Is Disappointed in You, was an irreverent-yet-faithful adaptation of the Bible that got everyone talking. Now, Mark Russell (Prez, The Flintstones) & ShannonWheeler (The New Yorker, Too Much Coffee Man) are back with a follow-up book, Apocrypha Now, about the stories that DIDN’T make it into the Bible. Some of these stories were forgotten, some suppressed, others were just too freaking weird for the Bible (and that’s saying something). In a special advance release for Emerald City, Apocrypha Now is about what the Bible DIDN’T tell you.

IDW: Kids Comics & More! Sunday, April 10th, 4:00p.m. – 5:00p.m. Room: T304 RSVP

Kids! IDW loves comics as much as you do, so come find out what’s new for 2016! My Little Pony, Disney, Angry Birds, TMNT, Transformers, Skylanders, Strawberry Shortcake and more! Want to learn how to make your own comics? Come prepared with questions for the panel, including editor Sarah Gaydos and writer/artist Derek Charm, of Powerpuff Girls fame! Free comics for the kids!

Look at that list above! Am I the first person signing at the IDW booth for @emeraldcitycomicon? Heck yeah, I am!

And then @adampknave and I are the first folks signing there on Saturday!

  • Saturday April 9th
  • 10:00 – 11:00 @ameliacolecomic – Adam P. Knave, D.J. Kirkbride

Stop by if you can! (And if you can’t at those times, we’ll be at Artist Alley table A-18 for the rest of the show…!)

hello! I bought the first Amelia Cole book at raygun comic shop today (I also got a ms marvel sketch from you), and I've just finished it so I thought I'd tell you that I thought it was absolutely amazing! One of the best books I've read recently, and I loved the art (especially lemmy the golem). Anyway, thank you again for the sketch, and it was nice meeting you!

So! Amelia Cole issue 25 has a release date. Now, to be fair, it isn't until January 6th. BUT that means you get to start 2016 off RIGHT. Still! We're excited so we decided to show you the cover super early in celebration. We may be over-tired, or something. Just run with it. AMELIA COLE #25 out 1/6/16. But you can catch up digitally NOW: http://cmxl.gy/AmeliaCole
