It was 3 PM when you arrived at the gym. You almost had given up on the idea of coming when you found out you'd be working out on your own but your head was such a mess that the need to blow out steam out weighed your distaste for working out alone.

You couldn't help but smile once you noticed how empty the gym was at this time of the day, skipping like a little schoolgirl as you made your way to one of those machines you'd always been too self-conscious to try. The truth was that you had no idea how it worked, you saw people using it befoee, sure, but using it yourself was a whole other story. You just didn't want to be in your zone, doing you, and worry about some random guy that claims he's a gym expert coming in and telling you all the ways in which you're doing it wrong.

"Need some help with that?"

You took a big breath, ready to tell the random guy to get lost when you noticed you knew said guy. "Oh Johnny, it's you."

"Thought it was some guy ready to hit on you?"

"Yeah," you confessed, feeling a little embarrassed.

Johnny was drinking some water from his black metal bottle and your eyes couldn't help but follow the movement. A little bit spilled from his mouth and trailed down his neck all the way to his soaked grey t-shirt.

"Y/N?" His voice broke you out of the state of hypnosis his swollen pecks previously had you in.

"I'm sorry, what?"

"I was saying that that machine can be very tricky to use if you're a beginner. Do you want me to help you?"

"Oh no, you're in the middle of your training, I don't want to bother you."

"You're not bothering at all, I just finished."

"Oh...then okay."

You sat on the machine and felt your pulse quicken as Johnny placed himself right behind you, his hands guiding your arms to the right position.

"Alright, put your arms like this. Don't forget to tighten your core."

His hand soon made contact with your exposed stomach, showing you exactly what he meant.

You hadn't even started the exercise and your body was already burning up. You hadn't seen Johnny since you found out he liked you and now you couldn't stop thinking about it. How were you to remain calm when you knew the way he was subtly touching you right now wasn't platonic? How could you not get aroused when he softly mumbled words of encouragement that could also be used in a sexual environment? How could you not want to forget everything and jump him right here when you almost had your ass pressed to his crotch as he helped you stretch your back on a mat? You didn't even have a clue how you went from that machine to the mat, you just knew that if you didn't put an end to this "training session" you might end up hurting somebody.

"Oof, I'm exhausted. I really need a shower. See you later? Bye." You were just spitting out words. Anything you could think off that could be used as an excuse to leave. You didn't even let him say anything, you just picked up your towel and purple water bottle and left for the locker room.

When you entered the room with the little symbol on the door that signified "girls" you couldn't help but sigh, your hand resting on your chest.

"What are you doing Y/N?" You commented to yourself as you went to your bag to check your phone.

Your chest tightened as you saw that you had recieved a text from Jaehyun, feeling a bit guilty about the situation you were putting him in.

You didn't even read the notification, you just saw his name, unlocked the phone and opened the text message.

"What's your favorite movie?"

You and Jaehyun had eaten so much at dinner that you both agreed you should go for a walk alongside the river. To get to know each other better, you decided you wanted to play a game of questions, this one being question number 15.

"Mmmmh, the scary movies," he answered in a playful tone to your surprise.

"What?!"

"Don't judge me. They're just so silly, they never fail to make me laugh," he justified.

"Okay, okay," you put your hands up in defeat. "I'm sorry, I just thought you were gonna say some romantic movie since you told me you like to watch them with a glass of wine."

Jaehyun laughed. "No, I like them but I have to be in a certain mood. With the scary movies I can watch them just whenever. When I'm down, when I'm stressed, etc..."

"Makes sense." You hadn't thought about it that way, but now you completely understood his choice.

"What about yours?" He asked.

"Mmmmh...Inception!"

"Oh, that's a great choice!"

"It's the best choice," you teased, showing him your tongue in a playful matter.

"Hey!"

Jaehyun was getting ready to tickle you when he noticed you were shivering from the cold, immediately ceasing his on coming attack. "You're cold?"

"No, it's okay, I'm fine!" You told him when you saw him taking off his coat to give to you.

"I won't take no for an answer miss!" He insisted.

"Alright..." You caved, enjoying the way his warmth and cologne engulfed you when he put it around you. "Thanks," you smiled, suddenly getting shy at the level of intimacy.

"I don't want you to get sick. What kind of doctor would I be if that happened on my watch?" He joked, sensing your nervousness.

You laughed. "Yes, doctor."

Jaehyun chuckled, his dimples making an appearance.

"What's your favorite song?" You suddenly asked, trying to continue your game of questions.

"Well, I don't know about favorite, but there's one I really like to sing."

"Oh? Please siiiiing, please, please pleaseeee," you pleaded as you jumped up and down, being fully aware that you looked like a little kid.

"Alright..." Jaehyun turned you around so you could face him and suddenly got closer to you, his palm resting on your cheek.

When he sang his final note his lips moved towards yours, giving you a kiss as sweet as his voice. Your heart was beating like crazy, and you knew then and there that you were dangerously close to falling completely in love with him.

"Have I told you how much I like you?" He whispered against your lips.

"Yes, but you can say it again."

"I like you, so much."

"I like you too."

"What?" Jaehyun asked, trying to play dumb.

"I saw you two kissing last night."

Jaehyun was stunned - he didn't know what to say. "I'm sorry...it just-"

"Why are you apologizing? It's not like she's my girlfriend," Johnny asked.

"Because I know you like her, and I feel so terrible that-"

"Jaehyun, stop." Johnny took a deep breath before he continued, "yes, I like her but you know how I am, I'm not one to be tied down. But you are. And I know perfectly well that you shut down every girl you might like because of what happened with Cara."

Jaehyun looked away from his friend, the mention of his ex tugging at his heart.

"You deserve to be happy. Please don't let me get in the way of it."

Having said what he set out to say Johnny got up from the chair and made his way to the door, giving one last look to his stunned friend.

"Johnny..."

Jaehyun's expression was a worried one. Worried that Johnny wasn't telling the truth and was sacrificing himself for the sake of Jaehyun's happiness. But his friend saw right through him.

"Don't worry about me Jae, before you know it I'll have already found someone else. Now finish answering Y/N before she thinks you ghosted her."

With a flirty wink and a playful smile Johnny left his friend alone in his office.

On one side of the door sat one relieved man, fishing his phone from his drawer so he could schedule a date with the girl he liked. On the other side, stood a torned man.

"Well, good morning Doctor Jaehyun," Johnny barged into Jaehyun's office, catching him with his phone in his hands a stupid grin on his face.

"Johnny?" Being caught off-guard by his friend's presence he quickly locked his phone and put it in his drawer. "What are you doing here? You're not supposed to be working right now."

Johnny pulled out the chair in front of his friend's desk and sat on it, crossing his right leg over his left one. "I came to talk to you, actually."

Jaehyun panicked. He had seen the text, and he knew his friend had made his way to the bar they were all in last night. He knew there was a big chance he had seen you two kissing.

"You know I love you like a brother," he started, Jaehyun humming in response. "Why didn't you tell me you liked Y/N?"

"I'm so sorry Doctor," you pleaded as you followed him to the bathroom.

"Don't worry, it was just an accident," he turned to smile at you before he opened the door to the men's bathroom.

You honestly didn't even thought that someone might be inside, you were so worried about having ruined his expensive shirt that you didn't even look but, thankfully, it was empty.

Doctor Jaehyun grabbed a few paper towels, dabbed them with cold water from the tap and started rubbing, making you cringe.

"No, no, no! You shouldn't rub it!" Years of drinking red wine on your couch had tought you the hard way that you should never rub a wine stain. You always dab.

Doctor Jaehyun looked up at you like a little kid who was being reprimended, and you found that adorable.

"You should always dab." You picked up the paper towels he has used and threw them to the trash. "And you should use warm water," you grabbed a few more paper towels and turned the tap to warm. Soon enough you were right next to him lightly dabbing at his firm chest, something you only noticed when you felt his breath on your cheek.

You slowly looked up and noticed he was staring straight at you, turning your cheeks to the same color as his stain.

Something about his eyes felt so gentle and loving, so sweet and caring...Something that would for sure make anyone melt.

"Is my shirt going to live nurse?" He asked, amusingly.

"It's seems you were very lucky. If you had come any later it may not have survived," you played along with a smile on your face.

"My shirt gets to live another day because of you nurse Y/N. Thank you so much." He smiled to you and the way his dimples popped almost made you faint right there.

"No problem Doctor."

"Call me Jaehyun," he said, making your heart race at the informality.

"Call me Y/N."

"Hey! What are you doing here?" A voice called from behind you making you jolt.

"I'm so sorry, I was just cleaning his shirt, we'll leave right away," you apologized as you made your way to the door.

"Sorry," Jaehyun mumbled as he followed you back to your table.

"Look who's back! Is your shirt alright?" Jessi asked.

"Yes, all thanks to Y/N," Jaehyun smiled in your direction, making your cheeks red again.

"Aww, you guys are adorable," Lisa commented.

"Listen, while you were in the bathroom we were talking about going to that famous bar downtown, are you down?" Jessi asked, making you thankful that she was changing the subject from you and Jaehyun.

"That sounds fun," you agreed.

"Agh, I don't know," Jaehyun said, making you feel a bit sad that he wasn't going. "I have an early shift tomorrow."

"Oh come on, just this once! You don't have to stay out really late," Jessi pleaded.

Jaehyun looked at you for a moment before he answered with a smile: "Alright."
