Do people have experience with Procreate? Would anyone recommend it?

I've been contemplating on getting a used tablet for drawing so I don't have to sit in front of a pc every time the inspiration strikes, as I've developed rather unpleasant back pains in the last year or so.

I know Procreate is one of the most hailed art apps there is, but it's Apple exclusive and I have no experience with the brand. It's been difficult to find a good art app for non-Apple products.

It might potentially help me with productivity, but can end up being pretty a expensive venture for just an experiment so I'm looking for ideas. What apps do people like to use for drawing?
