I was starting to recover, but then you looked at me again.

“Bah! Am I not well equipped?” The being asked, drawing their wolf pelt closer around a thin chest. Physically, they appeared scrawny but they could appear as they wished. It helped let people have incorrect assumptions about them.

“Lucky me then. Show me around, will you?

“You are mistaken,” Tallow replied, carefully keeping his distance. He’d encountered far too many strange creatures in his travels, and this one... this one definitely didn’t seem like it belonged here.

“I am not of this place any more than you appear to be,” he corrected them. “I am but a Traveler, and though I have visited here often enough, I have never seen your ilk anywhere upon this surface.”

You're really descriptive, and there's a sort of steady pacing to your writing that goes really well with your character's voice

What’s my writing trademark?

[ Thankyou, anon! Yeah, I initially had like everything written as Tallow speaks, but I’ve sort of come to realise that that was far too slow-paced and clunky to read. Splitting up all your contractions like that has too great an impact on the flow of the words.

He still speaks like that, partially just because I mean why not, it’s kinda funny and he’s a bit like Commander Data that way, but his speech tends to more archaic structures and he makes much less of an effort to mimic other people and adapt his speech patterns. But yeah, thank you!! ]

“Again. I cannot say that I have, and even if I did, I am not inclined to simply bequeath information without knowing why it is required.”

“Any sane person would deduce that you are simply being difficult. She is being hunted, and I would see her safe. That is all.”
