so recently i've been researching these unique mannequins. there's a shop nearby to where i live (a sort of weird, hippy dippy type clothing store that sells a lot of outdated, clearly made-in-china clothing) that has 3 in the window and theyre quite the ✨feature✨ of the shop.

i spoke to the owner and he said he's had his for about 20 years, (in this small town here in the north of the UK) but mentioned that a friend of his had seen the same ones in barcelona. my flatmate is also from barcelona and told me all about how much she used to see them about -- i ask you now, person reading this, do you recognise these mannequins? (there are plenty more in existence with different expressions too) have you seen them in your own local area or in your travels? please let me know about them however you prefer - reblogs, replies, you can inbox me: i've learned a lot in my own research now and will present the full story later in my next youtube vid, but i'm hoping to also gather some stories from other people just to figure out how far these mannequins have travelled around the globe.
