Ok well. This blog isn’t dead but like. It’s definitely like one of those bottom dwelling fish that lays completely still for days at a time before launching itself up to swallow a whole shark or whatever.

My Teen Wolf brain worms have suffered a population decline, but they still throw a worm rave now and then.

What I’m saying is hello to any new followers, this blog may be very quiet for long stretches but rest assured that I’m still in the clowning business.

stiles is incredible funny bc yeah he's the brain the strategist the plan maker super smart etc but everytime he checks, just in case, like "hey just letting you know the easiest way to fix this is murder. just a thought" and then everyone is like "stiles NO" and then he gets to the actual plan

teen wolf didn't make stiles a werewolf because they knew he would be finding increasingly absurd ways around all the absurd Werewolf Rules. some bad guy tries to trap him in a circle of mountain ash and he reveals he's been carrying one of these bad boys in his backpack for months

Although we don’t watch the show anymore, we still have place in our hearts for Teen Wolf; it was one of our first online fandoms, and there are friends we’ve made because of it that we’d never have otherwise.

“Run” was the first piece of fanart we drew for the show, and it still remains one of my favorite pieces to this day. While sorting through prints to bring to ECCC, I found a single, slightly crumpled copy. I thought about ordering another for our workroom, but in the five years and two computers since we drew it, the original file was lost.

So, we decided it was time to give it a tune-up (as much as I love the original, the wolves looked pretty bad XD)

The Renegade Bound Book Exchange has finally ended and I can post my contributions!

I bound a Steter fic called This Time Around for Anaxandria / Perfectly Capable Press, and I also did a copy for one of the two authors. Originally I had planned for the books to match except in very subtle color differences, but materials failures derailed that plan as soon as I started working on the cases, and I had to rework the designs to match the endpapers, which led me in totally different directions for the two books. I liked the end results a lot for both so much, even though they are so different, that I had a hard time deciding who should get each book. In the end, I packaged them up and flipped a coin for which address would go on each book.

The yellow book has homemade book cloth with black HTV and paper decorations that match the endpapers. The other has blue bookcloth with grey Indian rag embossed papers. The spine title for that was done with Foil Quill. Both books were printed on 24lb cream legal paper, with hand stitched endbands over leather lace cores.
