It’s so weird being on the internet as a newly minted old person.
Like, everyone I knew and followed used to be around my age. I’m used to that. But now there’s like a 50% chance that one of the blogs I’m trying to follow is someone like 5+ yrs younger than me

Like, imagine having a character that was very influential to you growing up. Imagine having a comfort character you care about so much that you still turn to her as an adult when you’re trying to work through complicated feelings like grief. And throughout those years, that character becomes like a friend to you. You know her so well. Through what you create, she knows you too, in a way.
Then for that character to not only come to life, but also be like “yeah, I’m specifically the version that you created in your head. We’re bestest friends.”
