Okay so I hear/read a lot of arguments over how Canaan and Alphard met. A lot of people tend to think that they were trained together and then Alphard turned on them. I personally was always really confused over their back story and then I saw this. It’s a bonus scene from 428, the game CANAAN was based on.
This cleared everything up for me! I am so happy right now! :)
You really need to watch this! Yes I know it’s kind of long, but it’s worth it if you are an obsessive CANAAN fan as I am .

Did you notice when Alphard showed up that Canaan immediately got slightly more defensive? She knew something was off about Alphard.
Oh and those soldiers that showed up on the train were definitely Snake
