hey maybe one day people will be able to talk about enjoying My Chemical Romance without adding on some unnecessary apology (ironic or otherwise) for it or phrasing it like it has to be a guilty pleasure, or emphasizing that they know it’s not the early 2000’s anymore as if music expires past a certain date. they’re a good fucking band and yes i’m “still listening to them”, but i shouldn’t have to add the “still.”
