Did you intentionally make him Cajun before that screencap or was that baked into the prompt already. I ask only because the eyes as green as the bayou got me good

he's naturally australian so i gave him an upgrade

in response to everyone making charlie do shit like this, they patched the fuck out of him to be nigh unusuable. but im working on him, and i found out what they did.

henry made it home safely with a pinup of klinger in his wallet

#just mash things

part 30

The wallet of a man in a fine pinstripe suit, spectator shoes and a white hat inside the wreckage of a Korean War-era plane was found by scuba divers over the sea of Japan 19 years later. The man was later identified as Lieutenant Colonel Henry Blake.

Preserved inside the wallet of the man was a picture of another man, Maxwell Q Klinger, wearing a pink evening gown.

"We didn't want Henry Blake going back to Bloomington, Illinois and going back to the country club and the brown and white shoes, because a lot of guys didn't get back to Bloomington."

Gene Reynolds

I got into an argument with a high school friend on the bus to a field trip once.

"Henry Blake shouldn't have died."

"No he shouldn't have. That's why they killed him."

PRECISELY.

When they did, they got hundreds of protest letters, telling them how unfair it was that they killed off a character.

They hand wrote letters back and said that the week that episode aired, a plane carrying children trying to escape the Viet Kong was shot down, no survivors. They said that they hoped the people who protested Henry’s fictional death protested as passionately for all the children who were actual living beings.

These writers were not fucking about. They did it to hurt you. They did it because it was the only way to make people understand that when you have war, when if you think it’s a just war, not everyone comes home. Even if they’re decent, silly affable guys like Henry Blake.

I’m sure OP just said this in fun, but no. Pretending he was fine undoes everything the writers were trying to do, and retcons one of the most important moments in television history. Retconning it undoes the primary mission statement of M*A*S*H. It MUST be recognised. He must die so the viewers understood that when there is a war, everyone loses.

I don’t know how to say this in a way that doesn’t sound like I’m advocating for casual cruelty or whatever but something that grates so much about this current social moment is how many people are incapable of saying they dislike something or someone without cooking up some higher morally correct reason for their dislike. Sometimes you just disliked a book. Sometimes you don’t “get” an actor or a musician. There’s nothing morally wrong with your girl’s fuckass boyfriend he’s literally just annoying and you’re annoyed that you have to pretend you like him when you know he’ll be history in six months. It’s fine. You don’t need to justify your dislike.

There are currently ~2300 works in AO3 tagged with "Created Using Generative AI"

I'll be upfront with my opinion, which mirrors my opinion in regards to my field: using AI will only hasten your own obsolescence. The point of fanfiction is not to crank out fics, but rather to enjoy the hobby and communities of writing and fandom.

To steal something I saw elsewhere: Why would I bother to read something nobody could be bothered to write?
