Ahhhhh hiiiii 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼 I’ve been doing pretty good lol mainly just focusing on work and school rn but I literally just finished my quarter and have the next couple of weeks to at least breathe a little better lmao 😭 it’s been basically almost over a year since I’ve actively posted yikes 🥲🫠
Ok but on the flip side of chaotic team 7 shenanigans could I request headcanons of where Kakashi and crush are actually dating, but Team 7 don't know that so they (mostly Sakura dragging along Naruto and Sasuke) keep trying to help Kakashi out, not knowing that like they literally live together. Meanwhile Kakashi is like 'you know I could tell/make them to stop', but s/o is like 'please don't lets see how far this goes'.
they can notice kakashi's dumbfounded expression at you even through the mask. you just waved at them from a distance and the man is whipped.
they know kakashi is invested in you, they have known this man for years and they've only ever seen him looking like that at his infamous books.
it goes this way for sometime, them just noticing how head over heels kakashi gets whenever he spots you through the village, with no apparent evolution because he clearly is not taking an action on his feelings.
they needed to help him.
now, if it were modern times sakura would literally make a 10 minutes slide presentation of why they should help kakashi out or else he will die alone, and make her teammates seat through the entire thing.
sakura will set a very detailed plan, because she is that extra and also because her teammates are dumb and need every step noted down or else it will be good for nothing.
she will literally set a date for you two. sakura will come to you asking if you'd be kind enough to go get dinner with her tonight, because the boys don't want to, and she really wants to go this nice restaurant. she'll NOT hold back to emotionally manipulate you, she WILL make you go to this restaurant if it's the last thing she'll do in this life.
sasuke and naruto will be asking kakashi, ofc, and this one is actually naruto convincing kakashi to go by saying he'll pay for the dinner. and OF COURSE kakashi notices how shady that is on the spot, but he doesn't say anything and just agrees to meet them there after training.
when he sees you there, his current partner, on the table, no emo boy and blonde boy in sight, he'll start suspecting. a suspicion that will immediately be confirmed when you tell him that sakura also invited you but didn't show up.
they were scheming, those little rascals.
he'd be hurt that his pupils think so little of his dating skills if it wasn't so fucking funny. they really thought they were setting him up for a date, with someone he was already dating.
that is when you and kakashi starts scheming on your own. you'd pretend the date didn't go anywhere, just to see how they'd react.
sakura is SO mad her flawless plan went to shreds, seems like not even a god's intended wish can work if the person in question sucks at social skills!! she can only set the date for him, she can't make them like kakashi, that's on him and his ability to be interesting!!!
she will come up with a new plan, though, kakashi WILL make his crush fall in love with him if it's the last thing she'll do.

Practice had been particularly harsh today. As result, Tsukishima's long limbs felt numb with every step he took exiting the locker room. He figured changing out of his practice clothes would help lighten his mood, but unfortunately he still felt like his arms were going to fall off.
He walked sluggishly, his shoes sifting against the dirt underneath him as he made his way home. Only to look up and see his dear friend, y/n.
"Tsuki!" She waved, jogging towards him, carrying something under her arm and in her hand, “How was practice?”
Despite his physical state, a small smile managed to find it way to his lips.
Y/n and Tsukishima had only been friends for a short while, but there was something different about her. The way she made him feel was something unfamiliar to Tsuki. But there was something about it that was intriguing to him. Something that he almost liked in a sense. And times like this were when he could almost give into the things he felt but knowing him, it would take some time before he would come to realization and accepting it for what it was.
Y/n stopped in her tracks right in front of him with her hands extended, “I brought these for you,” Her smile shined as she looked up at him, “I figured you would want something to eat on your way home.”
A warm blush rose to his cheeks, dusting his cheeks and ear in a light pink, “Oh-uh, thank you. Practice was pretty intense today.”
“Well,” Y/n handed him her treats, “the harder you work, the closer your goal is. Whether it’s baby steps or giant leaps, progress is still progress.”
Tsuki continued his walk home, y/n strolling peacefully by his side, the two of them just making small talk. Eventually they made it to his house, but there was something inside of him that didn’t want y/n to leave. So he sat on his front steps, finishing the last of the snack in his hand.
Y/n sat down next to him, gingerly settling. It was a tight squeeze on the single step where they both sat. The silence that fell between the two was comfortable, like they could sit in silence with each other for years. Not a single word and yet they were both so content with each other presence.
Soon enough the small gap between them closed, their knees now touching. As simple and mondain it seems, in both of their minds it was almost otherworldly. To two teenagers with a crush on each other, an action like this set fireworks off in their stomachs, yet every single muscle and bone in their bodies refused to move as the gap closed even more.
These sort of moments made tiring practices worth it for Tsuki.
