I, uh, hope I didn't accidentally mislead you since the fic mentioned is not related to these (but here it is anyways), but... I might have to admit I've been drafting a little something with ichihoshi and fubuki 👉👈

#can't promise it will get finished bc my writing is 100% based on random inspiration hitting me#but if that ends up being the case I got a couple of scenes I could draw#we'll see we'll see#oh and also thank you!!

not even five days after posting that swamp soccer art we get a message through work socials asking if anyone wants to participate in the swamp soccer world championships I'm not even kidding

(apparently a manager's friend is one of the organizers or something)

#anyone can participate if they pay a fee but the timing was just so on point like what#AND the finnish olympic team outfits were revealed on wednesday and the men's shirt is weirdly similar to my fanteam shirt???#(not saying they're the same not at all but the right side n collar color and motif across chest. how cool is that)#ignore me ok

me writing fic like what do you mean there is no english word for auringonsilta

I can work with going crazy over picking the closest translation for oddly specific way of breathing or an abstract feeling, but that is unacceptable

okay holy shit, guess who accidentally found the original comic plans for the same idea I just finished writing

I was cleaning a shelf and stopped to browse a file with old art and there it was... there also was some specific drawings I managed to find from here on tumblr and was able to date it back to around 2013

the most important thing on the page is this

#the details have unsurprisingly changed over time and the tone is more serious but damn#I also sketched out a comic for same idea digitally a few years back without the og plans either#would be fun to compare the three together#trust me kids: never throw your old art away#I have huge amounts of notebooks and loose papers stacked all around

#holy shit have I been writing today#decided yesterday to add a third chapter and now it's almost 3k in#the big question is if I should post the first (and possibly second) chapter before I get the third finished#because I have a bad habit of losing interest in a project if I start publishing it too early while it's still unfinished#but I also... wanna post already.....#I think I got just one more scene left but I've underestimated the word count on every occasion so it could end up being super lenghty stil#we'll see we'll see#ignore me ok
