All of the 2022 calendar pics together!

I know I have put the link to the calendar in my pinned post, but now that they are all out, I thought I'd do one group post with all of them:

@teapotteringabout there you go. 😊

Sorry for the radio silence, everything's been a bit rubbish atm.

Anyway, I was messing around with the IR logo in Sketchbook the other day, trying to modernise it and after taking inspiration from the shoulder patches in TAG; I ended up with these.

I like the TAG IR logo but it's a bit plain imo and I like the TOS logo but it's a little harsh on the eyes. These are a **meet in the middle** sort of design.

I'm actually really pleased with them and I hope you like them too. (;^^)

Just a small funny thing

(Still having trouble with notifs and not receiving messages and asks seem on the fritz, please do pardon if I am slow to respond or fail to respond, I’m still arguing with my tumblr!)

So the small funny thing is that I’ve been plugging in craft speeds for the Anderverse / Century 21 and…  Thunderbird 1 BREAKS THE CHART Y’ALL

Like, here’s a chart of the 3 of the 4 fastest aircraft in the Anderson Universe.  thunderbird 2, The Angel Interceptor Mark 1 (tos Captain Scarlet), and the Angel Interceptor Mark 2 (new Captain Scarlet) (All craft got a minor buff as I switched from MPH and KM/H to Knots …which is what you’re SUPPOSED to use for aircraft just as you do for watercraft and spacecraft anyway)

and HERE is what happens when you put Thunderbird 1 on the chart

GOOD LORD LOVE A DUCK BECAUSE THAT’S HOW YOU GET A PLATYPUS

One’s LOW Cruising (ie slowest she can go before she’s hemorrhaging fuel) is about the same as the Interceptor’s Normal Cruising

Her Fuel Efficiency Cruising (ie where she gets the best speed for fuel consumed) is HIGHER THAN THE INTERCEPTOR AND TB2 TRUE MAX

And then she KEEPS GOING

HOLY FRUIT JESUS! 😳

Thunderchickens

Totally @gaviiadastra ‘s fault.

Original pattern can be found here by Bag-O-Day Crochet

I give you Thunderchicken potstands (because they aren’t big enough to be potholders due to the fact I didn’t have the right yarn). All mistakes are mine as I went off pattern and attempted to do my own thing - which is always scary :D

I just realised I stuffed up the pattern in the second one - play spot the difference. :D Also, Gordon would be happy as Four is actually bigger than Two somehow ::scratches head::

Nutty

(Twas fun :D )

Inktober - Day 7 - Enemy

I like that you included his bionic eye. I thought it was a clever way to call back to Classic Hood's control over Kyrano and it would have deserved a backstory.

Thank you 🙂 It hadn't clicked that it was a call back to the original.

I always remember the scene when the eye flickers and you know he's still a threat. This was done from a screenshot of that moment (I struggle to draw without a reference image)

Inktober - Day 2 - Island

When I saw this post by @skymaiden32 I was inspired to do something a little different. I got out the old calligraphy set I brought while at university and had a go at Tracy Island after messing around to get the feeling of the nibs and how they worked.

I was surprised at how well it turned out, especially for the first attempt. I've done a few of the other prompts as I enjoyed the challenge. There's something about rubbing out the pencil and seeing the final piece that's very satisfying.
