please stop treating the word neurodivergent like it means the overlap between autism and adhd
i dont know how to articulate this well but some of you act like neurodiversity starts with adhd and ends with autism. you talk about "the neurodivergent experience" and everytime you mean "the overlapping experience of adhd and autism."
please remember us when talking about neurodiversity. ocd, dyslexia, dyscaculia, personality disorders, tourettes, intellectual disabilities, schizo-spec disorders, etc. all fall under neurodiversity.
please stop saying neurodivergent when you mean "autism and adhd."

I wish i could find this one article written in I believe the 90βs that went under the radar on abortion. The author said that the βlifeβ arguments are basically useless on either side and what actually matters is that humans shouldnβt have a right to use other human bodies as a resource without consent no matter how alive or sentient they are, even if theyβre on the brink of death you have the right to deny them access to you. It probably was too radical for pro-choice activists back in those days but likeβ¦thatβs the most robust arguement lol so we need 2 being that back and dead the pontifications and splitting hairs about βlifeβ in my honest onion

Men are held to such low standards in relationships and itβs infuriating; just today I heard from my co-workers that ones husband never drove to come see her when they were doing long distance, and the otherβs hasnβt mowed once in their 30+ years of marriage.
Like we like fun at lesbians moving fast in relationships, but thatβs because women are socialized much differently than men, and those traits lead to healthier relationships. Though gender roles are fucking wack in general, you canβt deny that women are raise to be more understanding, expressive, and caring in general. My girlfriend drives 2 hours to come see me every weekend, and my friends boyfriend can barely make the 40 minute trip to come see her.
When women are in relationships with each other, they are more likely to talk about feelings, and go farther for their partners. Women do this in hetero relationships too, but itβs rarely reciprocated if theyβre with a cis male.
I read an incredible essay about how gay marriage is incredibly beneficial to straight partners, because straight relationships always have a basis in inequality, due to societal gender divisions. Gay relationships show what itβs like to have a relationship without a gender based power imbalance.
Ladies, if you wouldnβt put up with it from a best friend, donβt let a boyfriend get away with it. Cultivate a society where men in relationships have to at least have basic decency; not only through your partners, but also through how you raise your sons.
Iβm shamelessly rebloging myself because I think this is a very important concept that more people need to be introduced too; I hope this gains traction and shows people to think critically about how they are treated.
