To celebrate our 3rd year as a guild on Wyrmrest Accord, we are hosting a formal Military and Masquerade ball! Join us at the Lunastre Estate on December 18 for a night of honors, awards, flashy sabers and great company! (This is a neutral event and tongue potions will be available for those that forget theirs.)
The <Duskwatch Saberguard> was a Suramar-based elite cavalry unit which served as the eyes and ears for the Suramar military through patrolling, exploration and missions. Originally, the Duskwatch served under Grand Magistrix Elisande, carrying out her orders to maintain law and order within the city and ensuring that no interference come to the Burning Legion’s plans to invade Azeroth. Since the Resurrection of Suramar and First Arcanist Thalyssra’s subsequent promotion to leader of the Shal'dorei, the Duskwatch began to serve under a new regime and lend assistance to Suramar’s Horde allies.
As part of a new directive sent from the First Arcanist, the Duskwatch have since branched out to protect and serve the Horde as a whole. An experimental military exchange unit, the Duskwatch Saberguard seeks to build new connections to our allies by accepting all races of the Horde into the Saberguard itself through an exchange program. By accepting other races and sharing knowledge, culture and tactics, the Saberguard hopes to strengthen the ties between the Suramar government and the Horde. The Saberguard’s main headquarters are located in Suramar at the Sanctum of Order. When operating within Horde lands, however, they have been allowed to rent a space in Silvermoon City.

“I’m a troll, am I allowed to join?” - Yes. Even though the Saberguard are led by the Shal’dorei, all races of the Horde are allowed to join as long as they respect the traditions and rules of the Duskwatch. This is an experiment in learning and teaching through joint operations.
“Do I have to ride a manasaber to be in the guild?” - No. Despite this being the required mount of the Shal’dorei members, you are allowed to ride your races’ mount if you’d like. Of course if you want to ride a manasaber, one can be acquired for you!
“I’m not really a fighter, will I be able to take part in guild events?” - Of course! We will have a variety of events to try and fit everyone’s style of RP. Social, military with D20, research and investigations, archaeology, classes, drill/training, comedy plus more! Everyone likes variety.
“What is your stance in the war?” - Due to being a unit within the Duskwatch and Suramar military, we are not neutral in the conflict. We follow the orders of Thalyssra and therefore the Horde Warchief (even if we have conflicted feelings about it). However, we also serve as a home guard and are allowed to create alliances/working relationships with neutral guilds that reside in Horde territory.
“Do you have a Discord or website?” - Yes! We have both! We keep everyone up-to-date on events, storyline, and info in the Discord. Our tumblr is @duskwatch-saberguard!
“It says I have to be 18+ to join, is that true?” - Yes, that is true. Despite having a variety of events for every type of player, we do tend to lean toward more mature storylines that might get a tad dark from time to time as war is not a pretty sight. Plus the Captain of the guard tends to use colorful language at times. (Okay… a lot. Anyone have a bar of soap?)

The <Duskwatch Saberguard> is happy to announce that we are no longer on hiatus. Currently, the leadership is working on the next campaign in the Duskwatch Saberguard’s storyline as well as preparing for the anticipated arrival of World of Warcraft: Shadowlands! In the meantime, we have debriefings and social events listed on our calendar starting next week which will carry on throughout January. Because we are no longer on hiatus, we are also accepting new recruits into our ranks. For those interested in joining the guild, please feel free to read through our FAQs and/or contact either Loviattar, Seilune, or Kuldoryth in-game. We want to extend our gratitude to those who have been welcoming and supportive of the guild since its establishment and beyond. It is appreciated beyond what words can express!

Group Therapy
While the Duskwatch Saberguard met to discuss their stress and feelings over my beloved Nightmare realm.. they didn’t realize they were being watched. I will admit that I loved hearing all of their pain. They even dared to give me more fuel for the fire!
Perhaps you should check more than weapons at the door, dear Adheles.

The dear Duskwatch Saberguard decided to try and interrogate my former necromancer. I doubt they got far with that. Enjoy the information she gave you.. I’m sure it’ll be a great help!
My team attacked but when it seemed things were not going in my direction, I pulled them into my realm: the Nightmare. There is nothing better than seeing them all fall around me, unconscious and sharing the same horrible encounters. It made me so excited that I even visited them inside of the visions.
