          “ i’d should hope that’s for the better ! ”  amusement stains each word he speaks, smile gracing his lips without a second’s hesitation. within the praise lays a sense of satisfaction -- though he refrains from bragging just yet. ( all that glitters is not gold, don’t you know ? ) indeed, he himself wasn’t much different than the street rat he was back then -- relying solely on skill alone to survive. to this day he’s still unsure where he’d be had it not been for the troupe finding him back then, though he supposes that doesn’t really matter now.

it was funny, really, if he were to think back on it. there he was -- a sole survivor of a village turned to ash, dying on the streets of god knows where -- only to disappear again ages later. abandoning once again what he could have at one point called a family. now look at them. though he supposes it’s best to spare the horrors he’d experienced. ( why not savor the now in its glory? he had since abandoned his old life, who he was, for something undoubtedly better. and it seems they have too !! how lovely. )

i am a slow roleplayer. not only do i get distracted easily, i get overwhelmed easily. sometimes i can’t talk and do drafts at the same time so i am sorry if i ignore your message. i am deliberate and methodical with every word choice. i like to spend my time on my writing and getting to that emotional level within myself to evoke a proper response with each reply. i’m not good at whipping out thread after thread. i never have been. i’m sorry if that’s the way you roleplay and i don’t match up, but i like to think the quality of the writing makes up for my lack of speed. thank you so much!
