  • sitting with Thalia’s tree to tell her about her day every evening 
  • Chiron spending hours reading with her, helping her find ways to work with the dyslexia 
  • he even gave her ancient greek versions of a lot of books, and for the first time Annabeth knew what it was like to have reading be easy 
  • she had a notebook where she would write all the words she found while reading that she didn’t know and then would look them up in the dictionary and run around using all the big new words she had learned 
  • she insists on training with Luke and quickly becomes one of the more advanced kids
  • telling one of her older sisters about the spiders that would come in the night and the sister whispering to her “don’t worry, we’ve made sure they can’t get in here” with a reassuring smile— Annabeth gets the best sleep she thinks she’s ever had that night
  • most of the kids leave at the end of summer, but before the Athena cabin’s head counselor leaves she gives Annabeth a stuffed owl and says with a wink “you’re in charge til next summer, okay little one? Don’t let these older kids run this place into the ground.” and Annabeth skips all the way back to cabin with a smug smile that never really leaves her face

  • They are the cabin to go when you feel confused about your sexual orientation or genre.
  • They can be a little over the top, but they will help a demigod when they need it, but sometimes that means a musical number about how shoes are the best thing on the world.
  • Will most of them are not very good with weapons, most of them feel the better when they use their body as a weapon, this doesn’t stop them from having brushes that can become knifes and lipgloss that also double as pepper spray, and more stuff like that, they might not like to fight, but that doesn’t mean they are not prepared for them.
  • If you want a fashion modified version of the CHB shirt, you go the the Aphrodite cabin.
  • They are so sweet to the little campers. they love to take them under their wing and make they know that they are never alone.
  • They love promo/graduation season because they get to do makeovers to all the other cabins. Tomorrow is your prom but you just fought a monster and have a nasty scar on your face? Don’t worry, Aphrodite cabin is here. 
  • Make up tutorial to how to cover your hickeys. 
  • Feeling bad about yourself because your face is full of acnes and it’s bothering your self-esteem?  They will teach you how to cover them with makeup, what products to use to help you with your acne problem, but most important, they will teach that you’re beautiful no matter what.
  • The last time the camp saw an Aphrodite kid lost control, was when an Ares camper made a really inappropriate commente about someone and their sexuality, the Ares camper had to get stitches on their face.
  • They are so proud of their bodies, they don’t care if they have extra fat or stretch marks, you know they are gonna walk in that bikini or in that swimsuit and look fabulous. 
  • They can feel when someone is heartbroken, and they make sure to help that camper, they have this party every Valentine’s day where only single people is allowed, nobody is allowed to feel bad about being single.
  • Very protective of LGBT campers.
  • They do know how to fight, they just don’t want to fight.

AU where the Beatles are all kids of Apollo and after they gained stardom Chiron thought it would be safer for them to come to Camp Half-Blood so they came to America but since they are kids of Apollo they left for fame. Strawberry Fields was their song for Chiron to show him that life was harder outside the safety of camp but it was worth it. The strawberry fields in question are the ones that surround the camp.

I’m in love with this au tbh. It is mentioned on the Last Olympian that the Beatles were demigods, but I’m not sure if they would be all sons of Apollo (and it seems that Rick agrees with me). And the strawberry fields song is just amazing and it fits really well with this au. I can’t stop thinking about this au and honestly I just love the Beatles even more now.

  • they’ve officially been banned from every competitive activity at CHB because they always win
  • they wear nike clothes too often, no one thinks its funny anymore 
  • sometimes they take short little trips to casinos to cheat mortals ot of money but chiron found out and they stopped no they didnt
  • they like to bet on the new campers godly parentage
  • they just really like gambling, the odds tend to be ever in their favor

okay but the Aphrodite cabin does beauty consultations that are literally life changing and they make some major drachmas  

demigod makeup products with hints of ambrosia because its great for the skin and gives you that god-like glow

When people dislike the colder seasons it’s something I truly don’t understand. What’s not to love about being rugged up so tight even your soul is warm. What’s not to love about misty mornings, damp forests, moss and mushrooms - like you’re living a fairytale. Candles, wood fire, cinnamon, steamy soup, hot chocolate. What’s not to love about fresh rainy days, that pitter patter on your roof. I’m never happier than I am in the cold seasons, summer just isn’t my type.
