If a creature takes you to their den and is licking you and purring and then they give you enough room to break free and escape thats a test, do the right thing and bury yourself in their fur. You don't want to make creature sad do you.
i think there should be more dragon rider media where its just commonly accepted that the majority of riders are fucking their dragons. no one really talks about it openly but every single person at that riders' academy knows it's happening. commissary sells condoms that are distinctly, visibly too large for humans, and every single time a newbie calls in sick with "acute abdominal pain," literally everyone knows what happened to them and some of the more experienced riders sneak them advice on how to not get hurt doing it
it's kind of natural, really. you put two incredibly social, sexual creatures on a solo deployment together for a couple nights where their partner might be the only other living creature around for hundreds of miles, and it's kind of obvious in hindsight what's going to happen, even if they're two different species

Lines of thought that seem Normal but are actually rooted in extreme puritanism:
-Seeing the nude human body is inherently traumatic -Sex scenes in art are pointless -Wearing kink-related clothing in public is the similar to performing a sex scene in front of unwilling participants -Depicting female characters expressing sexuality is always degrading -People's sexual fantasies are always an endorsement of the behavior they want to see in real life -Sex work is more traumatic and coercive than other types of work The goal is to treat sex as just another thing people do. That is a much healthier attitude than hiding it! It's not uniquely traumatic, it's not weird to talk about it or include it in society.
Also adding:
-Sex in a monogamous romantic relationship is somehow morally/fundamentally different from sex outside of romance and/or monogamy.
-Some clothing is inherently sexual.
