Do you hear that? That's Eye of the Tiger playing as I get back in the saddle and prepare my first round of Patreon postcards since May of last year. You want a postcard? Now that I'm only doing two a year, the tier cost has gone down to $3. Sign up now and get mail next month! Patrons get an exclusive early download of the art, which won't be posted publicly for a couple more months after that. And of course they get the 4x6" print in the mail with a little newsletter that contains process notes, sketches, a crossword, or some Job-Satisfaction-related microfiction, as my mood dictates. Okay that's it that's my spiel! Sign up or don't!!! (example images are the February 2022 bundle and the art for last February's postcard. As is tradition, the one I'm working on now will be very pink.)
Last year I decided that instead of new business cards (wasteful, forgettable, for able-bodied people with job prospects) I would make a free zine (memorable, punk, cheap, depraved) that I could tuck into my shop orders like evil gay Chick tracts.
The physical zines are black and white photocopied foldies but I spent this afternoon gussying up a color version for the World Wide Web. If you want a real one to have and to hold and to turn into a paper airplane or origami cicada, all you have to do is buy something from me. Or know the secret password. The comic has been running very slowly since my arm decided to have some kind of repetitive strain explosion in 2021, but by God I am still working on it, and if random updates dictated by the caprice of life isn’t in the spirit of Webcomics, I don’t even know what is.
Patreon postcard for February! Them. The next postcard will be in May if you want to get in on that. Still waiting on daffodils here from under two feet of snow. (…: JOB SATISFACTION webcomic PATREON!
I don’t know why I didn’t do this years ago, but I’ve formatted the Job Satisfaction elevator pitch into a mini zine that will now get tucked into orders from my shop and, if I ever do cons again, be free at my table. actual comic work continues apace* *at the pace of a snail with chronic shoulder pain and depression, but it’s A Pace
Hey remember MY WEBCOMIC We are not back to regular Friday updates yet but I finished a page and really really REALLY wanted to replace the one that has been on the landing page for months. Now I’ll be working on a buffer and continued at-home physical therapy to get my arm back in some kind of working order. Stay tuned! STORE! Job Satisfaction site PDFs Patreon Ko-Fi Twitter
oops, finally fixed the twitter link which was leading back to whatever bot grabbed up my old handle when I switched to a new one (I’m great at twitter)

I guess I’ve been doing these a little over two years now? I wanted to see them all lined up together (minus the new one that’s a secret until patrons get it), and golly gee that’s a lot of art. It’s satisfying to hold the stack of hard copies :y
meant to be a warmup but got out of hand…. it’s Connie!!! fancy for Halloween
It’s been a bit since the patron postcards went out, so here it is.... the ridiculously over-the-top artwork I did for the May round. Last image is the original compared to one of the 4x6″ prints.
Patrons on the Carrier Pigeon level get hi-res digital copies of quarterly postcard art, and a postcard-size print in their physical mailbox every third month. The next round will be in August. I have been busy finishing up an anthology coloring job but now I’m done and ready to get back to work on updates! Stay tuned to this Bat Channel. STORE!
