rent free in my brain headcanons:
- he’s probably caught himself staring at her back before and loid or twilight more so was probably throwing hands at himself for doing that and being flustered adhjwhjds
- loid putting his hand on the small of yor’s back when guiding her through a crowd (eg: formal work event)
- continue on with that headcanon: loid drawing soothing little circles on yor’s back when he notices she’s a little nervous in front a strangers (where they gotta act the part)
- yor washing dishes at the sink and loid just has to reach for something in the cabinet above her. so he’d lean his front against her back and he’d just ever so slightly swipe his thumb over her back (and she’d probably accidentally snap a plate in half because yor is yor keke)
- light fleeting shoulder kisses chu

headcanon time! yor and loid going on a couple’s retreat (for the mission of course) and on different parts of the day they overhear the other talking to guests who insinuate nasty things about them which initially put doubts in their heads but loid/yor immediately defend their spouse talking about how amazing and kind they are as a spouse and parent which lift them up and when they reunite that night they can’t look at each other’s eyes without blushing.
of course it’s for the mission ahjdgwjw but oh my gosh yes!— i can totally picture loid here defending yor and really putting emphasis on her title going my wife instead of just saying yor as he speaks about her. gotta let everyone out here know that she’s his wife.
and then make this couple’s retreat ‘there’s only one bed’ trope and after that these two are fighting for their life with blushing and stuttering. and then maybe they’ll face away from one another in bed at first but then one of them slowly turn to the and start tracing little patterns on their back and whisper little thank yous for what they did, maybe it can be yor if we connect headcanons— yeah you know im twiyor brainrot 😭
twiyor headcanon #1: Loid actually hates the way Camilla, Millie, and Sharon talk to/about Yor. It's one of the reasons he defended her so damn hard at the party and why he reassures her the way he does every time she doubts herself. He had no real reason to go as far as he did, but he doesn't regret it.
it’s even canon that he’s like uh no words at the city hall girlies— mans doesn’t even have words for them 😭
he’d say he’s reassuring yor for the mission and to help keep up that happy family appearance but you know he absolutely dislikes the way they speak badly about her. and i too think that loid doesn’t like it at all when those words get to yor because she’s doin’ amazing and she shouldn’t be so hard on herself.
the whole reassurance part, that’s canon too! loid already does it so well, when yor shows any signs of doubt in the way she is as a wife or mother to loid and anya. there’s countless examples—
the day after yuri came over and how she thinks she’s not good enough to play these roles the way society would expect her to. he wants her to be just as she is.
when fiona said that ‘dr forger complains and grumbles about his wife’ and then yor suddenly just said what she needed to say and even if loid didn’t know of their conversation, he knew exactly what to tell her to put yor at ease.
i don’t even gotta explain this one because this right here is twiyor (loid here) proving once again that their love language is words of affirmation!
you’re right he has no reason to go that far defending her in front of her coworkers or reassuring her when needed but he does so just for yor— loid is willing to go that far.

this! yor waiting up for loid to come home after one of his missions and when he does come home, he doesn’t notice her at first but then he stops in his tracks when he hears something stir only to find yor on the couch, sleeping with her head on the armrest.
and you just know loid would feel guilty because she was waiting up for him— and you know that man would soften up instantly. probably even brush her hair out of her face, kiss the crown of her head, maybe whisper something sweet and bridal carry her to bed— for the mission of course, for the mission.
