question for you guys
Hey humans! I’ve had this idea for a little while to post my long ass LotR fics on this account. I have one up on Wattpad called the Red Rider that I wrote while I was in high school, and I’m trying to edit through it. But it’s hard, because it seems pointless to rework it if I’m basically the only one seeing it since my Wattpad readers hardly interact with me and I haven’t been on there in a while.
Would you guys like for me to post it here?
It’s a full-on series, I mean, it’s REALLY long, but I think that it’s pretty damn good. It’s from when I was really good at twisting plots around. It’s a slow burn (actually it’s technically TWO slow-burns), it’s fluff, angst, and badassery, kind of bittersweet and super adventurous, especially when it comes to my stuff. It’s got 2 OCs and a bunch of perspective switching to feel out the whole story. It’s got elvish, that I semi-learned just for this. Yeah, I was really into it.
And I think you would like it. And I’ve never posted LotR fics here.
But I need, like, a lot of interest. Not only am I really proud of this but it’s my first fully published fanfic. I want it to be able to reach people as I’m posting it, especially because Tumblr fics are harder to just ~stumble~ across than Wattpad. I want to see people’s feedback as I’m posting it to see if it’s truly good. I hold The Red Rider very close to my heart. I want that to come across to a real audience. I know that’s not the typical fanfiction way, but this is important to me.
I do know that not a lot of you are LotR blogs and that most of you follow me for SPN or Marvel, so I do ask that you reblog this and try to reach out to blogs that may be interested even if you aren’t. I know I’ve been doing that to you guys a lot lately, and I hope it doesn’t come across like I’m begging for attention.

Just finished watching the new Sabrina on Netflix. Holy shit, they went balls deep on this one. I’m not even gonna lie, shit had me kinda wigged out. Made SPN look like a magic carpet ride….
I’d probably enjoy it a lot more if it weren’t a horrible misappropriation of Pagan and Wiccan religions. The Satanic Panic in that show is horrible!

I want to like it so much. I enjoyed the characters and general plot. But witchcraft does not equal Satanism and Satanism doesn’t equal evil. It’s painful to see your religion used as the evil option in a TV show. Not to mention the mispronounciation of Sabbaths such as Samhain (pronouced Sow-Win not Sam-hain like they do in the show). Its very frustrating that they didn’t do even the most basic research before making a show demonizing my faith.
I can understand that, I just went and looked it up and found where the Satanic Temple is actually suing Netflix over Baphomet and the misrepresentation period, didn't get far into it before reading your reply but I did see where they are asking for the statue to be removed as well if they were to continue the series.
