You know Laszlo Cravensworth has just insane beef with Lestat. Lestat called his genital topiary 'gauche' and made fun of his witch skin hat and Laszlo never got over it. He refers to Lestat as his 'sworn enemy'. Every time they meet Lestat gets his name wrong which enrages Laszlo further. Unclear if Lestat is doing it on purpose or if he has just genuinely forgotten who Laszlo is.

Meanwhile Nadja dislikes Louis bcos he's just such a drag. Louis does a talking head for the documentary crew monologuing about being a vampire and Nadja is in the background making jerk off motions the whole time

Nandor considers Louis and Lestat to be his 'good friends' and is oblivious to the fact that both of them are constantly trying to extricate themselves from him.

Another level of the Lestat Laszlo beef is that every time they cross paths Lestat is like ah Nadja of Antipaxos mon cherie more beautiful and radiant than ever *hand kissing mwah mwah mwah* and Nadja is like haha oh you ;) and Laszlo is like that's my wiFE you prick and then Lestat is like ah yes the husband, Lesley... Pigglesworth? Laszlo hates him so so much

Realistically if you stick to the show timeline they wouldn't cross paths w Claudia they'd just hear about her second hand and be like haha that sounds fucked up

However if they did meet her I think they would admire her bloodlust and hype her up so much just like clapping and cheering while she rips throats out. Claudia claims to find them super embarrassing but secretly likes having a hype squad.

Louis & Guillermo get along OK bcos they are, uniquely amongst the group, rational adults capable of having a civil conversation. But Louis would be unable to respect Guillermo's drive to become a vampire and would get major ick from him addressing Nandor as 'master' and this in turn would annoy Guillermo so they would not be friends

If they met late in canon Louis would be like why are you still living with these people who constantly insult and belittle you and Guillermo would be like honestly I don't even know at this stage. Anyway why did you get back together with Lestat. & Louis would be like, touche :/

Lestat keeps implying he and Nadja had a fling before she met Laszlo. Nadja is refusing to confirm or deny which drives Laszlo crazy.

I personally recommend this organization:

Sarah McBride (who will now be the first openly trans person to serve in Congress) is a Run For Something alum. I've seen their candidates run and win in my own state — those candidates helped save us (and my gay marriage) from the worst impulses of our slimy Republican governor. So they get my stamp of approval.

Here's the thing: The U.S. federal government has extremely broad but shallow powers. The real depth of power — to decide what gets built where, what the schools actually teach, who gets support and how the laws are enforced — if they are enforced at all — a lot of that happens at the local level. A lot of that is decided by local officials who may be running unopposed right now.

So I cannot stress this enough: VOTE IN THE OFF-YEARS. RUN FOR LOCAL OFFICE. You'd be surprised who can get elected down-ballot — sometimes an independent progressive can win in deep red trump country where a run-of-the-mill Democrat wouldn't stand a chance.

If your vote didn't matter they wouldn't try so hard to make it harder to vote in red states. Voting in red states can turn them into swing states like Georgia, Ohio, and Arizona. And voting in blue states can keep them from becoming swing states.

California used to be Red. Texas was Blue long ago. Florida was once a swing state. Obama took Indiana but it's gone redder since. Ten years ago Arizona and Georgia going blue was unthinkable.

Things change and we can make them change.

And that's before getting into more local elections. Turning cities blue, the state legislature.

Red states have flipped blue in recent years at those levels too.

Because people vote, and if we vote in high enough numbers we can turn a tight election into a walk in the park. If we vote in high enough numbers, we can turn a loss into a win. So many good things have happened in states where someone won by like 100 votes. (arizona is one)

You know why we lose elections? Because old people vote and young people don't. If millennials and zoomers would just Pokémon Go to the polls, this would be so easy.

Also, let's say you're right. Let's say that there is absolutely no chance in a million years that your state, as a whole, will go blue. You might still be able to flip your congressional district blue, or your state representative. You might be able to prevent a Moms for Liberty candidate from getting elected to the school board, or a white supremacist sheriff. You could see that the moderate conservative gets elected to city council instead of the far-right whackjob. And those positions actually have a lot more to do with your daily life than the President. It matters. It all matters.

I encourage everyone to not only be aware of Project 2025, but educate yourself on exactly what is — a nearly one thousand page document by Conservatives that describes the creation of an authoritarian state and dismantling of major necessary agencies (EPA, Department of Education, etc), as well as including a plan to remove those who hold high government seats and replace them with loyalists who have little to no experience in that field.
