Chris Carter is like an old grandpa. He insists on continuing to drive even though he’s a danger to everyone on the road. some good news about babylon?

I recently spoke to someone who has a friend who watched Babylon through a connection at FOX. First, all the usual disclaimers: I don’t personally know said friend, nor can I vouch for their veracity since I have not spoken to or vetted them myself. So you can take this information with a grain of salt, but it’s hopeful and happy, so I thought it worth sharing. 

Anyway, said friend assured my source that the porch/hand-holding scene from Babylon is very much NOT AU–it’s real, and it’s spectacular*. Said friend also really enjoyed the episode overall. Again, I don’t know what this person considers a “good episode” so of course I’m reserving judgement, but the more important point is the information about the porch scene. 

There’s always a chance this is false information, but I tend to believe my source and the friend. You all can do with it what you will. 

*Seinfeld reference. The word “spectacular” was not used.
