"𝐖𝐀𝐊𝐄 up!" a shrill voice filled y/n's ears as she felt a weight on her body.
"fuck off," y/n groaned, flinging her arm in the air to get the weight off her body.
"well hello to you too," the voice sassed.
"pans?" y/n's eyes shot open as she heard the voice of the girl she had grown to love.
she sat herself up on the bed and saw pansy standing beside her while draco was standing by the foot of his bed.
"wait what are you doing here?" y/n's face scrunched up in confusion.
"i thought you would be happy to see me," pansy flicked her forehead.
"ow..." y/n winced, rubbing her forehead.
"i asked pansy over so you two can shop for clothes, i would myself but she practically begged to take you." draco leaned against the poster of the bed folding his arms.
"he's right, so get your arse out of bed we have shopping to do," pansy grunted while pulling y/n out of bed.
y/n lazily rubbed the sleep from her eyes, grabbed her wand off the nightstand, and let herself get dragged into draco's bathroom to get ready.
"i brought some of my clothes over so you can borrow them for the day," pansy handed y/n a dress and walked out of the bathroom, closing the door behind her.
y/n place the dress on a hanger and put it aside. she was surprised to find an extra toothbrush, still wrapped in its plastic packaging and everything, placed on the counter.
she brushed her teeth and washed her face, getting out of her pajamas, and putting the dress on.
the dress was skin tight and stopped right above her mid-thighs. it had white, thin spaghetti straps to match the white fabric of the dress.
y/n checked herself out in the mirror.
if she had worn this in the 1960s she'd definitely get called some awful sexist term, but she did look absolutely gorgeous.
she finished the look off by using a beauty charm on her face, one tom had taught her when she complained how lazy she was to have to wake up early to do her makeup every day.
with a wave of her wand and the mumbling of another beauty charm, her hair had brushed itself out and was now perfectly styled.
she stuffed her wand in the waistband of her underwear, something she had been doing since she was a little girl, and took one last look in the mirror feeling satisfied.
draco and pansy were in the middle of a conversation when they heard the bathroom door click open.
as the pair were met with y/n, they had two very different expressions.
the raven-haired girl's eyes widened in delight while the blonde boy had a frown on his face.
"you look hot," pansy squealed clapping her hands.
"pansy, what is y/n wearing?" draco's eyes narrowed into slits.
"a dress!" she exclaimed.
"calvin klein!" pansy replied.
"well, go put something over her!"
"duh, i was just going to," pansy took out a sheer button-up and put it on for y/n.
"pansy! that's not covering up," draco scolded while the girl only rolled her eyes and went to the bathroom to pee.
"is it because i look bad in it? i can take it off if it looks bad," y/n suddenly self-conscious over the boy's disapproval of the dress.
"no! no merlin you look gorgeous i just don't want other boys looking at what's mine," draco kissed the top of y/n's forehead.
"yours eh?" she smirked looking up into his eyes.
"yup," draco popped the 'p' and leaned down to kiss y/n, smiling into it.
"ahem," pansy cleared her throat, causing the pair to pull away, "i think we're gonna go now," pansy grabbed her shoulder bag swinging it over her shoulder, and pushed y/n out of draco's room.
"yea yea, bye draco bye y/n ok let's go," pansy cut y/n off, pulling her arm down the long hallway.
soon they were out of the manor and in the driveway.
a black rolls royce stood in front of them while a man in a suit opened the passenger door for the pair.
holy shit. pansy was rich rich.
"thank you," y/n thanked the chauffeur and hopped into the car after pansy.
sure the malfoy family were the richest in all of the wizarding world, but that galleon nonsense meant nothing in the real world.
clearly the parkinson family were prominent figures in the muggle world to be able to own this much money.
"oxford street please," pansy informed.
"of course miss parkinson," the chauffeur stepped off the brakes.
"wait i left my money in my trunk-"
"it's alright y/n, it's on me, it's a girl's day today."
"i said, it's on me, let me spoil you," pansy huffed crossing her arms, she definitely was going to put up a fight.
if there's anything about pansy, it's that she always gets her way.
"alright pans, thank you." y/n gave the girl a hug.
"i've just never had a girl best friend before, it's always just been blaise, draco and i," pansy sighed.
"there used to be a girl i was close with, daphne greengrass, but when i came out she immediately stopped being friends, saying how she no longer felt comfortable around me," pansy used her fingers to create air quotation marks around the word 'comfortable', "which is absurd because i never even looked at her that way, and that was in third year. and since then, most girls started to avoid me as well."
"oh pans that's horrid, i'm so sorry," y/n immediately pulled her friend into a tight hug, not believing how terrible the girls at hogwarts actually were.
"it's all good, i have you now, right?"
"mhmm, you're actually stuck with me forever," y/n cheesed with her arm slung around pansy's shoulder.
"yea i think i'd rather be alone," pansy removed y/n's hand from over her own shoulder.
"hey!" y/n smacked pansy's arm.
"oh! before i forget, what was that back there just now," pansy wiggled her eyebrows.
"oh don't play dumb with me snape," pansy nudged y/n in the arm.
"well...we don't have a label but we're exclusive"
"oh my god!" pansy gushed, "when's the wedding?" she joked, earning an eye roll from y/n.
"he really likes you, he's never been this whipped over a girl before. he's always been the type to fuck and forget, but then you waltzed in here at the end of the school year and quite literally swept him off your feet. you, y/n snape, turned draco malfoy into a softie. he never stops talking about you. like ever." pansy emphasised the last part.
"well what can i say, i'm just such a great catch" y/n winked at her friend, "what about you and granger?"
pansy immediately started to blush furiously.
"we've flirted here and there, she's so sweet, and i just...i've just never met anyone like her." pansy admitted.
"that's lovely. i'm so happy for you."
"okay but as much as i love you y/n, i've been friends with draco since first year, if you break his heart i will quite literally hex you," pansy waved her finger in front of y/n's face rather sternly, but then quickly breaking out into a laugh.
y/n could only nervously laugh in reply.
of course she lov-liked draco romantically, she was absolutely sure of it.
