Hello I think it’s time to say goodbye. Sapir Whorf teletubbies was a side blog I made to document the weird and wacky quotes I had noted down from my friends but now since we are heading our separate ways I think it’s best to end things here. Thank you for tuning in - INTJ

George Floyd didn’t deserve death. It’s truly depressing that for a supposed “world leader”, upholder of justice and global policeman, the US is doing a shit job at eradicating it’s own systematic abuses and racism. Police brutality should have been eradicated Long ago not just by the US (however it is most prominent there). Countless others could have lived otherwise. Imagine the macro side of things too for a country that is so hellbent on being the world’s only superpower, police brutality is a microcosm of the world’s affairs today. With especially Trump’s administration bullying the vulnerable.

Anyways if y’all are protesting stay safe. And y’all haven’t done so petitions are great. Try not to donate on Change.org and do your research because many websites pocket your donations instead of giving them to those in need.

MBTI Mysterycore Aesthetics

ISTJ: lab coats and autopsies of the not-quite-human, rows of silver file cabinets, footsteps echoing down cavernous sterile hallways, humming tape recorders, unintelligible whispers from inside the walls.

ESTJ: dark trench coats and black coffee,  “What we need is evidence,” polaroids on cork board, caution tape, untraceable phone calls, flickering street lights, skepticism,  secret meetings in rainy alleyways.

INFP: black highways stretching into the night, screech-owl calls, baggy brown flannels,  ominous religious billboard,  unexplained cases of arson, a great once-buried force now rising from the earth.

ENFP: off-limit areas in state parks,  rings of glowing mushrooms, cabins filled with faded maps and unsettling taxidermy, caves lined with crystals, walkie talkies, the silhouette of unidentifiable antlers.

ISTP: ominous  cable towers stretching into a blood red sunset, picking locks, beat up converse and scraped knuckles, trespassing in abandoned factories and finding secret tunnels connecting the town.

ESTP: missing person newspaper headlines,  the feeling of being watched in a fluorescent midnight diner, summer storms, shady local politicians with greasy smiles, novelty ties, and bloody secrets.

ESFJbicycles with baskets, befriending loners who see ghosts, pep-talks and first aid kits, bouquets in graveyards, Ouija board sleepovers, lying hand-in-hand on a blanket  stargazing for signs of UFOs.

ISFJ: secret treehouses where time is just a little different, shoe-boxes full of old coins no one can identify, saddle shoes, pinkie promises,  rescuing strange animals you found by the train tracks

INTJ: specimens in formaldehyde and stolen classified documents, telepathic abilities, government surveillance, erasing your old identity, knowing too much, hiding out in a lighthouse until the time is right.

ENTJ: letterman jackets and restlessness, dreaming of flying, meteor crashes, taking home pieces of glowing space debris, calling the press,  “Don’t you understand! This could change everything!”

ISFPcharcoal sketches of shadowy figures, porcelain dolls, sleepwalking into abandoned buildings, prophetic dreams, cornfields at midnight, attic rooms visible only to you,  “ No one ever believes me.”

ESFPeerie late August carnivals, fucking with things that absolutely should not be fucked with and then getting tempted by dark forces, chaotic split-lip grins, breaking curses, standing your ground.

INFJ: boarded-up Victorian houses consumed by ivy,  gardens of poisonous plants, typewriter keys and piles of unread manuscripts, knowing all of this has happened before, taking secrets to the grave.

ENFJ: spiral notepads and yellow pencils behind the ear, interviewing local hermits, speaking up at town hall meetings, justice for the restless dead,  making powerful enemies of faceless men in dark suits.

INTP: ‘70s science fiction paperbacks and striped tee-shirts, clay models of alien spacecraft, broken glasses, chalkboard equations, creaking swingset chains,  strange spinning lights above the suburbs.

ENTPabandoned hospitals and EMF meters, notebooks filled with illegible equations, knowing everyone else in town calls you crazy, esoteric texts in dead languages,  portals to other dimensions.

My advice to the Intuitives (written by an INTJ based on observations of the people around me)

INFP: just remember that whatever hiccups you encounter aren’t remembered by the general public. Like that one time you stumbled or forgot to bring a gift? Don’t beat yourself about it. It’s okay, don’t bottle things up cause one day you’ll explode. Talk it out.

INTP: You’re intelligent but sometimes take a step back and look at the solution ahead of you instead of overthinking. Cause the answer may not be as complicated as it seems.

ENTP: honestly procrastination and faking it isn’t good in the Long run, you’d better clean up your act before others notice...

INTJ: emotions aren’t bad. Also just because you don’t get them doesn’t mean that it gives you an all access pass to what other types perceive as rude.

ENTJ: Listen to others sometimes cause they may be able to cover any blindspots. Don’t be limited by your own hubris.

INFJ: sometimes your care or kind advice can show up as condescending or clingy. (Like an attempt to feed your ego?) Also sometimes you care for others till it harms you. It may better to just slightly distance yourself.

ENFP: obsessive behaviour can be destructive but it doesn’t have to be. Try to channel it to something more positive.

ENFJ: Manipulation and the use of it make you look incredibly untrustworthy. Stop bad mouthing people behind their backs. Your cunning will backfire and by then it may be too late.

I think . . . you've met . . . a really evil example of an ENFJ

Hmmm weirdly enough the ENFJ example is based off a close friend so I don’t think he’s evil. It’s just that he has a tendency to make others look bad to bolster his own self-esteem :/ He’s working on it though.

PS: I may come off a little to harsh here because I was aiming for the rational breakdown without the sugarcoat :(

Oh no, it's not harsh. It's completely realistic and realism shouldn't be sugar-coated. ENFJs can be manipulative like that when they're insecure about themselves — and that's coming from a person who is an ENFJ (my mother is too). So yeah, they do have that streak, but it takes some serious inner conflict to bring that part out.

P.S. MBTI types are subjective. Every person is unique and different from one another — even people belonging to the same MBTI type. No offense to you or your friend 💖

It’s chill bruh :) 💕

Oh my god you need more recognition. Some ENTP quotes you put here are absolute gems lmao! Btw, do you have any INTP as your friend?

Avatar

Ahhhh thank you! I do have INTP acquaintances but not anyone in my immediate circle :(

The closest in my friend group would be an XNTP who’s an Ambivert? Cause she’s undecided as of currently.
