A new hand painted oil stick relief print - its a fun process and technique - I made a few, the oil loses pigment quality each time you pull a new print - it degenerates beautifully- more examples to come.

Work in progress. Hand painting a small series of oil stick relief mono prints - this was the first test on newsprint paper. 18 inches X 24 inches

A fresh oil stick relief print - (first drawn on tracing paper) and I then pulled the print on newsprint paper, as a “test” - yes, this is a transfer of pigment, I used my hand to “press” the image, nice and smooth..

Now moving onto archival paper now for a small edition (5 -10?) - hmm, 🤔 should I keep it black and white or add some color?

Finishing touches on a new painting 🖼️

Here is a fun AI experiment I played with. I made this lil’ series of #microfilms using @runwayml #gen2 ‘s “text prompt to video” feature to make these - (they are a series of 6 or 7, 4-8 second individual clips) - I spliced /edited all with my iPhone using the iMovie app in about 15 mins each - such fun, and I like how fast I can ideate and iterate - more to come!
