LMAOO ty for the ask so much I think he's got one nickname that its like super embarrasing for him like if u had summoned a devil by sayin its true name, and its such a simple one like "Bo" or "Bobo", I think that man used to play a musical instrument i think he has a perfect pitch and used to play the shamisen as a young man, but now is a stuck up hardass and doesnt indulge in things outside of work responsabilities. As per his reason to joinnn, i think he is a very ambitious man who sought stability specially in a world like the one of one piece. He sees risking his life in battle as a reasonable price for enjoying a quiet life, of course that worked like a monkey's paw bc sure he got what he wanted but also now is at Garp's beck and call every moment of the day.
Also this is leaning more into OC content and ive never mentioned it but i think this man is a widow. And he didn't really have a support group to fall into when it happened so that led to him drowning in work and staying out at sea as much as possible
ill actually kill Oda if he makes Bogard relevant on this final saga of one piece, like i wont accept anything that isnt smth ive already headcannoned ykwim? whatever he says isnt true and i dont accept it, who does he think he is?

the flour massacre is ongoing. it is everyday. it was not an isolated event. it was not even the first time israel shot at and killed palestinians going for aid (they do it whenever they allow aid through). in fact, they did the exact same thing yesterday morning. just because smaller-scale murders go under the radar for lack of shock factor doesn’t mean they’re not happening continuously.
