It’s a new show with new main characters BUT it’s going to include the old characters when it can. It’s very obvious that this show is being constructed the same way the original show was: Noah Wyle couldn’t be the main character off the bat because he was busy filming Falling Skies, so they created new characters to hold down the fort while he’s off screen to set the stage for him to return more often when he has a free schedule like he does in the last half of the show. 

This new show is being started when all of the cast of the old show are booked and busy right now on other projects. The new characters are being brought in to hold down the fort until their schedules are free, just like how the new characters in the old show where used. They wrote the characters, setting and plot around Noah’s schedule on Falling Skies to accommodate him being part of the show even if he couldn’t be there much for the first two season. History is repeating itself, and i’m excited because these people are good at writing characters we love and I cant wait to meet more.

hey hi hello! it’s been years since i’ve touched this blog and this fandom. I feel kind of bad for losing touch with so many of you guys cause I made so many great friends during the run of the librarians

Aptly titled The Librarians: The Next Chapter, the sequel will center on “a ‘Librarian’ from the past, who time traveled to the present, and now finds himself stuck here,” according to the cryptic log line. “When he returns to his castle, which is now a museum, he inadvertently releases magic across the continent. He is given a new team to help him clean up the mess he made, forming a new team of Librarians.”  (x)
