Feral cats have lived in small clowders in New York City for ages. They have lived in relative peace, keeping to themselves and rolling with the punches. This was until a great storm rocked the city, flooding communities and taking cats with it. Many clowders were left scattered, nowhere to go and unsure who to trust.
An elderly tom by the name of Cosmos rose from the destruction and founded a new clowder in Central Park, known as the Cats of Cobble. Framed as a sanctuary of sorts, the cats of New York learn to stick together following the Storm. Loners and cats from smaller clowders alike flock to this new haven.
Only a week after establishment, Cosmos dies, leaving no new leader, no ranks, no order or rules.
Will this new group thrive? Will it tear itself apart inside out? Will cats split off to make their own? You are the one to decide.
Amidst the Skyline is a non-traditional, 17+ literate WCRP that takes place on Discord. The plot is loose but character-driven; players are expected to work with each other to develop an improvised story and world, starting from the very beginning of a clowder’s history.

Alright! Within the next few days, those accepted for OCs (which, for transparency's sake, is everyone who applied already) will receive a discord invite from one "rabies-kun," and if you do not respond to that within a few days, I will message the social media you have provided.
People who still want to apply: you can! We just decided to accept the OCs a little earlier, but you can still apply for OCs or adoptables at your leisure.

Clandestine Update:
It's official! OC applications will be accepted by the end of the week in order to get the ball rolling. Adoptable applications will not be confirmed yet, but both OC and adopts can still be applied for even after the end of the week! We're doing it this way so we can get things started for everyone who has shown interest in the story from the beginning and have been so patient facing multiple pushbacks due to low application numbers.
